knives are technically defined as one-handed melee weapons.

We can bring a short sword, i believe...

we dont need the katana, we already have broken melee weapons (shovel).

we dont need to release a weapon that has stronger power and better range then the shovel.

hmmm my friend was in vn and played cf vn >>Katana is like shovle
Left click 45 dmg
Right click is slow but 1 shot kill so i think shovel or axe is better
(of course the katana has a greater range)

As long as the Katana does not have an animation lag, it's already less OP than the shovel, if at all.

dunno why peoples think the katana is op, its a slower version of the axe, with longer range but slower speed, even if the shovel would not have the animation glitch, the shovel would still be far stronger then the katana.

katana has a longer reach then the shovel.. meaning it can stab you before the axe shovel can.

holdable 1hit secondary makes its more powerful then all the rest right there.

in a melee match speed isnt going to matter to much seeing as you have to enter melee range anyways to kill.

and BHOP is still fast with the katana..

Simple reason it's fun/melee weapon

is it as fast as the axe or slower? while its ready to hit ( charging up the right click) if faster or equal, its op, if not, in ghostmode or any match where the opponent got guns it will be worthless, would be pretty op in knife matches i guess but who play those? 0.o
