Remove hackers instead of making cf look like a manga show.
Hello cf players and z8game mods etc.
I have played CF for quite a long time now and I really like the game but it seams like that will change rapidly when some of the later patches only bringed discomfort in my playing and many other peoples playing too.
The latest patches did bring some good stuff l but not much of importance for the gameplay, actually I think it did bring more bad things (my personal opinion).
Lets start with one of the first things that went wrong recently. The M12s is the biggest noob cannon ever made in CF history so far I think many people know what i mean at this point. To make this clear lets say that a gun with so low recoil that you can hit a coin while spraying across the map aint a fair game gun (not that accurate but almost). I understand if you disagree but it´s how I feel about it.
Now lets continue... The latest patch that added some stuff that I know many people dont like. Lets start with a Asia map "Forbidden tempel" and the STAR character. I thought that cf was a realistic game and not a "Manga" show (I dont have anything against that kind of culture but I dont think those things are suitable in CF).
Now to the biggest problem.. Of some reason there have been loads of hackers the latest time and they are just increasing every day.
I think you should put more time in removing hackers from CF then adding stuff that dont improves the game itself.
Thats a little bit of what I think I hope its not all rubbish.

xtrap is a joke and everyone knows it,smilegate or whatever should listen too the REAL players not the ones who has been playing for a week or two.
Crossfire really needs a new anti hack shield that is far more advanced than xtrap. -

Xtrap is great, they can only stop threats they know about its the nature of the software and its the same with anti-spyware programs. This is a new hack therefore undetected.
Look at 9/11 you can't stop what you don't know about. -

yeah but they certainly could put more effort into their work. -
Like what?
1) They need to have the hack themselves (Quite easy).
2) Decompile it and see how it operates (Takes time)
3) Then work on a way to block it (Takes time)
Theres no 'prevention', they can only prevent known hacks or the methods used by hacks to inject themselves. -

And its not QQ. Go into Eagle Eyes. I have seen a HUGE number of hacks. Most have: Chamming (Obvious from prefiring and staring around a wall), one-hitting (.. Duh.) and even a public aimbot has been released recently. -

Thats exactly what I said that should priority #1 because the same nubs will be downloading idk the "flying hack" when its released on a certain popular hacking site:D
Then you have the identical situation next month but with a new hack.
OFC the hack needs patching too, but the biggest problem is the users. -
But they CANT! They just make a new account. IP bans dont work, period. Do a hardware ban, like in AVA. THEN we can get on with the game.

Nothing but truth in pure form.
Yeh, maybe there is no way to permanently ban cheaters (hate call them hackers, cause if I did, I would recognize them as ppl with some knowledge of software) but they still should be banned. Why if they can make new account? Its simple, they need to start it all over again. And they got banned with next account and the story will repeat until one of three things occur.
1. Cheater will stop using "hacks"
2. Cheater will stop playing
3. Some sort of anti-cheat will make them stop.
P.S.
I start to wonder, how is this that, here there is lots of problem with cheaters, when for example CS 1.6 with Valve Anti Cheat is mostly safe? As we can see, there is a way to make them stop.
Imho, there are ways to secure game more effective then with X-Trap, but I'm not specialist, so baning them will do for me. -

Xtrap is amazing. It bans plenty of people. Remember gameguard? Hackers just had to change the name of their hacks. -
The guy who made this thread does have a point.M12S is kinda of a noob canon,either we change it or we just put it to a higher price (by higher price I'm thinking of DSR-1 price).And the hackers,I think we should use the "Valve Anti-Cheat",what JPGorka said.I'm just saying,not that this will happen,but if it would,maybe CF would get allot more customers.But lol....Why did I reply to this thread.It's pointless.We should stop replying to threads like this,since their useless.Like [MOD]Greycloak says in-game when he gets accused of hacking "Cry more,maybe it will help".But of course,it won't.We can't have a perfect game guys.It's just not possible.Just like you can't be perfect.Every thing has a down side.Look for a solution...
