z8, Mods, Gms, pro players, smart people
Maybe this has been posted allready if it has im sorry.....
I was thinking, in something not hard to do. Of course you guys know the game has an option for only snipers only pistols only knife.... so why not create this option for every weapon? Les say anay S&D map with only ak-47 allowed, or only wicnchester or whatever.
Now this brings me to a new suggestion.... why not invert this system and give an option to not allow some weapons? Lets say u make a room in whatever map averyon is able to join but u can choose to eliminate the option of using m12-scarL-Thompson-kriss, wouldnt this solve many issues in the game?
Now my last suggestion is the most difficult of them 3 but it would be the coolest....................... lets take the 2 other examples I wrote but now lets do it with ping, lets say I get an option to forbid entering in my room people with 150+ ping, who ever tries to enter with a higher ping would not be able.
Yes people will say.... what about spikes? spikes r ok. they last max 5 seconds and if they last longer or your ping uddenly rises you automaticly get disconected from room.
Plz dont come trolling here saying this would never happen, z8 doesnt care what you say, ur a noob get a life etc etc etc

First idea: +0.1. It's an okay idea, but you cannot expect everyone to have your weapon of choice. It would just be clutter for people who do not have those weapons
Second idea: +1.
Last idea: no. I do not want to be kicked out of a 25-round game just because I spiked for more than five seconds. -

I understand everyones point and understand this is an useful post since no mod will ever see it.... iguess their too busy fixing bugs-in game errors-and getting rid of hackers.... did I sound sarcastic? -
Wow. The best we can have is IP ban South America. If your good enough, you won't mind the people using scar lights and m12s. And the weapon restriction? WTH?
You can just block anyone and most people lack weapons other than Lts.
I don't approve the first idea and the second one is ok....... -

uk serv first came out had ping in low 20s
is now 40-60 COOL STORY
sometimes a drop to 30
vent hosted nearby cF servers
a get max 14 ping on tha :L
canada serv
90 in beta
then 150/160
now varies between 120-140
checked everythin ma end
definatly not my fault

k,, people rage on this suggestion why? all they are asking is for Cf (and other ftp games) to do what nearly all retail first person shooters allow players to do out of the box, or at the very least soon after release via a mod.
restricting guns is simple and it is already been illustrated that it can be done. why not give us the option, i would love to jump in on some winnie only and shotgun only PUB matches.
Why is it people always respond with the same tired "play with friends and stop qqing" reply... Kid has a good suggestion to add a feature that would be used often by the majority of players, Why tell him to just "play with friends" when it is within the communities power to ask the game providers to implement these changes? (i know z8 and g4box just provide the game, but they can ask for these changes from the devs if they wanted too)
I guess i am an old fashioned mod community style gamer.. In the retail game modding world, if you don't do what the community asks, or atleast give a reason for not doing it, the game dies. also, if you dont fix a bug in less then a week of it's "outbreak" your game dies. and the modders don;t even get paid... Which blows my mind as why on earth would a company that is taking money from the players would behave in a way any different.
