Since many vast numbers of hackers are from certain areas mostly on UK servers: arabs, Turks and latelly Egyptians. will it be so hard to implement Ping limits to servers, so there will be servers 1-60, 40-90, 70-xx (or something similar), or make channels like this, or AT LEAST (for JHVEs sake) put this ping limit as an option to create room menu...
There is no need to ip ban, Z8 still can have money from those ppl, but they will play together with their own kin. u can make servers where will be no ping limits to allow ppl mix together by their will.
Everybody will be happy, laggers will play with laggers, so no whining about lower pings.
Low pingers will play with low pingers, everybody will enjoy. game experience will increase.
So why it is not implemented ?

  • Because the longer they wait the more income they get ^^. Thats why we don't get everything at the same time, takes 2 months for a patch = alot of people spending money on zp before the patch, and then the day of patch. Money makes the company so the company do this to grow bigger "in money" this game is horrible. I will love to see a xtrap patch first than the actual patch this month.

Well i see what u mean, but dividing servers/channels by ping wont affect their incomes..
  • And one more thing: Hosts should have more rights in their rooms, like their vote counting as 3
  • The option to have a ping limiter for your room would be nice. I'd support that at least.
  • I support you but..

As you know, pings change during a game...

If you create (for example) a room that the max ping is 100 and someone enters with a ping lower than 100 in that moment, but during the game the ping raises to 110, what happen?

He stills in the room or he gets "kicked" from the room automatically?

And imagine, your ping is 30 but for some seconds it raises to 1000+ (it really happens) what happen to you? The same thing as I have questioned above?

Nah man, its simple, it would only check your ping when u enter the game, after that u can spike. Since u cant lower your ping :) the entering ping check is sufficient
  • This can still be abused.

I've seen people (during Escape) play with over 1000 ping when on offense, so he'd just lag rush all the way to the escape point. Then it dropped to below 100 when he had to defend. Obviously he put something to download while on BL.

But yeah, I support that suggestion~
  • Ok (:

A few days ago I had a similar idea .. I usually play on uk servers and as you know, there are 4 of them .. although usually the second and third tend to be almost empty .. why not at least limit one to a maximum ping? For example, only play at UK2 who had no more than the 100 ping ..
  • they wont impose ping limits or ip bans becuase of the following:

they wont ban any countries outside of the NA/UK becuase it would litterly be them yelling out that they are breaking the licensing contact that they have with neowiz or whoever.

technicly the licensing contract they currently own states that they can only serve this game to North America and the United Kingdom, but as we all know they dont even enforce there own rules half the time. let alone enforce the contact.

and them banning a certian country outside of the licensed areas would be the same as them yelling out: "Look! im breaking your contract!" to there CEO's or whoever they answer too.

this is also why all matters relting to that topic are removed/censored/edited.
they wont admit it too becuase of ^^^

(this will prolly be edited/removed/censored too)

we all know that even though becuase of the fact abouve, all they are trying to do is make this game into a version for south america, they focus more on catering to SA then to there target customers. (NA/UK)

Man i hope u got it wrong, if they put it like its about pings, all will be fine. Nobody will be IP banned, nobody will be banned. there will be just channels for some ping ranges. thats nothing to anybody.
  • We just need room ping limits that allow any spike to last 45 secs or so, maybe more then you get kicked.

And room hosts should have the option to kick anyone instantly.
