"Run Time Error '5'" solution :]
Alot of you new people have been getting a problem with this error:

So, find the shortcut/.exe of CrossFire and right click on it and this will show up:
Click on properties (the highlighted box) and go to the compatibility tab:
And then check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator".

Then click apply and you can start/continue playing
