Testing weapon damage
Testing weapon damages, need some people to help. Post generally what times you would be willing to assist me as well as a way I can get into contact with you preferably not via the in game chat system.
I will decide upon specific distances for far/mid/close range once that is done, if you wish you can compile data on your own.

I see, I know I have a partial list as well as Bloodyfire. Not sure how far Denxi got, I am guessing the biggest challenge and where the information will be lacking will be in regards to things like quick switch time, reload time, movement speed, and rate of fire. -
Some ideas:
- Use this for target - http://mall.z8games.com/crossfire/cfitembuybonus.aspx?itemid=WKCF8000051
- Do it on Blackwidow, in that corridor near A site - on the same floor, in front+left if you are looking from A to B site.
- Make 2 tests - spray test and like 3 shots test.
Does the spray receive damage? I HIGHLY doubt that. This is a test for weapon damage, not spray patterns.
use each other, on a voice client (vent mumble ect) and aim for torso/leg/arm/head (tests, obvious headshots with ak/m4/k2 unneeded) and do single shots
I know the #s for k2, ak, m4, xm8, ak74 for long distance (armor and no armor)
its really not hard -

Aww yea hahahha I thought it was spray lolololol -
Please, guys, when you test weapon damage, be consistent.
Test all the guns on each body part, at the SAME RANGE, with armor and without. Be consistent. Also, no one really cares about reload time and draw time, we can figure that out, it's the damage stats we really need. -
Wow, way to encourage violating the TOS and undermining the financial support of z8games.
You are tied with DOT for lamest mod.
Darn I was hoping to be the best at something...
Well if I'm the best of the worst, then I'm the best, which makes it impossible to be the worst. -

Well, reload time and draw time matter. I dislike the review guides that simply state "really good" or "good" for such things and end up using the exact same terms for guns with vastly different reload/draw times. As for damage, I did a few tests already. The ranges are locked, and set to represent the general distances faced as a rifler in SnD scrims.

If anyone is interested in the general ranges we are using those screen shots show them. While I know they are not far enough to cause some guns to 98-99 damage head shot, I believe that in general those distances would include ones most commonly faced in scrims.
edit: Most likely will take a bit of a break for today at least, if anyone cares we ended up recording the damage for the majority of the M4 series. The only one we have not finished yet at those specific ranges is the golden M4 although I believe they will be more or less in line with the series.
edit: I know it probably would be more accurate in regards to head shot damage to do it on mutation mode. But for my intentions I am not concerned with such things. -

Technically if you're the best of the worst you are indeed better than the worst, but you are still bad and so you can't be the best.
Aha! Confused? -
