New weapon idea :)
Ok maybe someone has considered this before (well I've never seen it myself). And I hope it isn't on the banned weapon list (its not a ******* bazooka)
But has anyone considered that crossfire could use mines or claymore?
It would take up the explosives slot and it could be a gp or zp weapon, with special versions for the zp people (e.g. Halloween mine)
Although I can already imagine some people hating the idea it could be quite good, especially for taking out noobs who always go to the SAME PLACE ALL THE TIME.
I'm not quite sure how powerful they should be or what their explosive range should be upon activation, maybe as powerful as a normal grenade would be fair with about a second to react if you are a victim (so if you can run and react very fast it'd just be like trying to dodge a well thrown grenade.
And it would probably work better if the mine/claymore is destructible, e.g. you can shoot it
Hopefully not to noobish and potentially useful in the hands of a skilled player.
Just an idea

That is why you should be able to shoot it
Genius!
And I really hope you are talking about S&D -
How about AWESOME NUKE BOMB?
"." NO
Look I will give you a very simple lesson:
This is a claymore: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.history.army.mil/books/vietnam/tactical/images-full/F12.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.history.army.mil/books/vietnam/tactical/chapter4.htm&usg=__EbKgMzUeUyDVqJnqiuQFgHtN-RY=&h=1116&w=1432&sz=676&hl=en&start=0&sig2=ZNJXTACfiv3OO7DsLiQSGQ&zoom=1&tbnid=xKHky4BiZHDFeM:&tbnh=139&tbnw=182&ei=qh-KTN3dDcmj4QaT2eSPCg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dclaymore%2Bexplosive%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D1366%26bih%3D596%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=536&vpy=113&dur=1681&hovh=198&hovw=254&tx=174&ty=104&oei=qh-KTN3dDcmj4QaT2eSPCg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:0
Its not too big and is used in warfare.
This is a nuke: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://3.bp.*************/_eGZF7-BSejg/S_8_lfSEwiI/AAAAAAAAAg8/hlOz75a-JsQ/s1600/Nuke%252520Test.jpg&imgrefurl=http://animecornerstore.*************/2010/05/navarre-can-no-longer-afford.html&usg=__mB17wNZTo519jyhdoEoFPTJPmaY=&h=288&w=429&sz=34&hl=en&start=0&sig2=8US1kA8KHorbKxS02NDSDA&zoom=1&tbnid=sLf7DWb9_-_TqM:&tbnh=133&tbnw=168&ei=2B-KTPiCNtWB4QbA0OmcCg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnuke%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D1366%26bih%3D596%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=116&vpy=261&dur=2838&hovh=184&hovw=274&tx=66&ty=123&oei=2B-KTPiCNtWB4QbA0OmcCg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:7,s:0

TheOnlySword i think your idea is quite good realy as what could happen is like with grannades only one per respawn, WishMunztaAlt this means that it can't be put all the way round the c4, then it could i'm not saying defernatly just could have a quiet bleep around as loud as charater brething (with no noise reduction) there for you know to spray even if you can't see it, an other tactic to beat it would be to run all over it and run away mine/claymore gose boom your safe to defuse c4.

Thank you, at least one person likes this idea and doesn't post a stupid bear up

If CF used mines and claymores GM mode for example would become "mine jumping" for ghosts and /afk for GR.
If you have ever seen other shooters with mines, e.g. cod you can see that if you can see it you can either set it off by running over it as quickly as possible and get away with little or no damage or set if off at the border and run
Also seeing as each GR would only get one mine and that's if they don't have grenades, flash or smoke instead there really wouldn't be that many mines to avoid
