The St0ner Review: Type 89
Sup bros, welcome to my next gun review. Today, I guess I'll review a gun I bought about four days ago: the Type 89!!
All right, here we go:
Power: *Head: a bit iffy, sometimes does 96-99, othertimes is a one-shot kill.
(quick note: the test was done on an unarmored test subject... so yeah,
armor isn't involved here).
*Chest: 26-29 to the chest, pretty weak but still a four-shot kill
*Gut: 30-35, besides going for headshots, it's good to aim here.
*Legs/Arms: wow... 16-19 per shot... that's weak as hell, but w/e
Accuracy/Recoil: for the first 4-6 shots, the Type 89's extremely accurate, allowing a burster to hit targets with relative ease. But... for a gun of it's power, the recoil's proportionally high. So yeah, go past six shots at a time, and you'll most likely get shot in the face
Spray Pattern: extremely random, but stays within the confines of it's crosshairs. This makes it a good one for spraying, but... keep in mind that, combined with the recoil, the Type 89's tough to control when emptying the clip.
Reload: slow... about 3-4 seconds... so yeah, run behind cover when changing the mag
Ammo capacity/Longevity: standard, your usual 30-90 found in most GP AR's. Doesn't last long though, so keep reading...
Rate of Fire: pretty high, which when combined with spraying and long bursts, results in running out of ammo only a few minutes into battle
Looks: boxy... like UPS designed this thing for the Japanese Home Guard... plus, it makes your character's lead arm look swollen
More positives: the small suppressor mounted on the end makes it quiet in most situations, but can be heard at mid-range, unlike the true silencers mounted on the M4 series. Also, the gun does 100% box damage, making it ideal for an XM8 user who prefers to camp
More negatives: very heavy... a bit lighter than a Draggy, but quite possibly the heaviest current AR in the game.
Overall, the Type 89's a decent assault rifle made for strafing and shooting while standing still. It can still spray adequately, but can't quite match up to other guns in this category. Get one if you play by the style listed above: strafing, camping, and still shooting.
Score: 8/10

hehe thanks

feel free to suggest more, and no, I'm not gonna review the M4. Probably everyone who's ever played this game has used one and knows its stats.
anything else, (besides the guns i already reviewed, like the QBZ-95, G36K, RPK Gold, and Berretta AR-70
)
so yeah, thanks again

xD... yeah, it's a decent alternative to the Scar Heavy and QBZ, but it's definitely not the best gun. the spray pattern and recoil throw it offVery nice reveiw. I actually recently tried using a Type-89 for a bit, didn't like it much at all.. not terrible but not better then my reg. guns. xD
