ATTN: CSN Default Time/Scheduling Information

Round 1 Default Date: Sunday, September 19th
Tournament Default Time: Sundays at 8:30PM EST
Registration Close: Thursday, September 9th at 11:59PM EST
Tournament brackets will be available shortly after the close of registrations, once we clear up the team roster. Any teams that are left pending will be removed and back-up teams will be contacted for the remaining slots. Once we have that finished, Round 1 brackets will be generated and teams can start scheduling matches.
To clear up some confusion on the Default Date and Time:
The moment brackets are released, you will be able to schedule match times with your opponent. The default date/time listed is the LATEST you can schedule your match, but it is not the only time you can play. If Sundays at 8:30PM EST is not suitable to your schedule, teams will be able to make other arrangements through match comms. I hope this has cleared up some of the confusion surrounding the scheduling.

I've spoken with Kris a good bit about this league and it seems very promising. Some of the ideas they have for the future I think a lot of people here will enjoy. Seems as though they are actually trying to make this league run as smooth and with the least amount of complications as possible.

but there are a number of decent new teams that might turn out to be a suprise, do you know about those too? or are you going to be looking at the players? if anything, i could help, maybe im not the best player but i know the teams around. i want this league to actually turn out well, so far it looks better than wogl

not that it matters to me at all but how is that fair to the bad teams? let the bad teams play some bad teams. randomize... -

Being as there are going to be 64 teams (32 match-ups), I think it's safe to say not all 32 match-ups are going to be good team vs bad team. -
keep it randomized, although something like Carbon vs LifeLine, DeVious vs LifeLine, or anything like that, shouldn't happen till the semi-finals

No worries. The main issue with this was that if 2 good teams played first round, on of them wouldn't make it to the higher league season.
Solution is here though, as long as we're allowed to use this formula then even if a great team is knocked out first round by another great one, they'll still make it on to the higher level season. Same case if a bad team get's easy wins all the way to the finals (forfeit, etc.), they probably won't continue onto the higher skilled season.
And it's all equation based, so no lame-o opinions :P -
