Considering that we are a developed game, the money has to go to other uses such as paying for all the servers, paying employees, paying developers, these trips to places like Gamescom, etc. Sure they could pay for/make a better anti-cheat but we all know how well that will go.

@topic xtrap is much better than gameguard which we had previously, and looking at other games, punkpuster is the worst of all. which makes xtrap the most effective. the only solution would be to create a new anticheat that only z8 would use. that way it would be a little harder to hack

Thing is, you can make an anticheat like XTrap advanced as shi-.
Make it take screenshots, scan everything.
It doesn't matter. The hackers bypass it entirely.
This is the problem for every anticheat out there.
Cheating has to be cracked down on at a client level, making the actual crossfire.exe secure.
Games rely on second hand companies to make their own product secure - and with that, assuming it is secure.
In reality its just doubling the problem since the anticheat isn't doing anything, and the host company isn't doing anything on their end since they think the anticheat company is doing it.
We can only hope that OUR devs find a solution to the most common cheats, and I know for a fact that its being worked on daily, and progress is being made. -

Plus, gameguard was much worse. Don't complain. At least ghost's don't join GM anymore and kill everyone with an auto-firing aimbot awm. .-. The good ole' days.

FFA is the only place i can do well thats not a forumer room clan match or room with friends, and not get kicked for no reason
