I do not hide the truth, the main release of my Mods are in the YouTube videos.
In the description of the videos I give credit to the Mods original creators (in the applicable cases)

The Forums post's are an offshoot of the main feature (the youtube video),
so therefore I fully expect people to see the credit in the video description
(which is the only place they can find the download links so they have no choice to go there)


Stealing is taking unlawful possession of items that belong to another person,

The icons are (according to the company) free to use "as you may" so I use them as best as I can to create something that the crossfire players can use and enjoy.

In the end, many players enjoy and use my works, regardless of their origins, the end product is all that matters, and if the end product is to their liking then no one can complain.

The entire world functions by building off of the creations of others.

That picture you use as your avatar? Someone took it, someone put it up on the internet, slowly but surely it found its way to you, and you decided to use it.

In no way am I saying you stole it, but the entire purpose of the internet is the sharing of Ideas and Creations,

Every human in history, at some point in their lives, took the ideas and creations of another person, and built upon it.

that is the only way to move forward as a species, the only way to move forward, technologically, scientifically, socially, artistically and intellectually. Its the only way that the world can survive.

you can create nothing without it having some form of basis to it, without someone else having already made something similar to what you created.

Modern Airplanes? based off of the original technological forays by the wright brothers.

The Nazi swastika? based off of an ancient Hindu symbol of religion.

My point is this, by making something new out of something old, by using my imagination to create something no one has ever seen before based upon the work of another,
I have in turn given the others that will come after me the chance to build upon what I have made.

In the end, its the circle of life itself, we all benefit from the labors of those before us, and we in turn build upon those works to benefit those who will come after us.

Now, back the ShutterStock's ToS:
They give full consent to using these images and modding them. Therefore, the owner of the images clearly knows that these are being distributed.
