lol, I find it funny when others complain about knifers. you can hear them coming, see them coming and shoot their hides before they even get close. all else fails, learn to no-scope. DSR is great for that btw.
Knifers aren't a problem if you can actually snipe to begin with. -

I never say that. But I am generally proud of my sniping skills yes. I know there are far better than I. But, what I do know is, that generally knifers are not a problem for me. And they shouldn't for most. Heck, I snipe in GM, just to practice those skills.
There's lots of cues, and other defenses. The only ones at a disadvantage are those who don't heed them. -

I think that in Only Sniper Matches only Snipers should be allowed, I don't understand why, Z8Games don't take away knifes from the Only Sniper Games ! :S

why d ... you cant kill him? if your a noob sniper dont complain and if you cant sniper him take your knife and kill him!
+ if there wouldnt be knifes you :
-cant switch sniper-knife for faster scope
-cant move faster because you have a heavy sniper [ talking about awm most used ]
so -1 to this suggestion [ though that i would suggest not allow shovel/axe in sniper match making it more fair for the snipers who dont have an axe/shovel and trying to knife other knifers.. ] -
Dude, Not having a knife is like not having hands. Technivally you SHOULD be able to kill people in CrossFire with only your body,(im not talking about AIDS or other stuf, only melee combat). However, your not allowed to, so you have a knife which compensates I do agree though that there are a bunch of noobs who run around stabbing people. Still, you can shoot them or knife them. It just requires skill.

dont qq. i got kiked for knifing in sniping match
though i didnt only use knife, i sniped, moved up, sniped moved up, etc and then camped their base with a knife. anyways like everyone else said, it shouldnt be a problem if u can aim, or use your knife, ever think of that? -
I can run around in almost any game with just an axe, and get a decent KDR of like 10 kills, 3 deaths.
If you doubt me, come play.
I do it all the time, cuz most can't aim. Those that try so on me, meet my long range 1 hit killer. The sniper. lol -

I axe all of the time in sniper matches. I do it just to annoy people, because they make such a pointlessly big deal out of it. I get kicked sometimes, but I still find the personal amusement worth it.
Nobody complains about melee weapons in pistol matches. Besides, if I have timed melee weapons, I'm going to use them.
Just complain about the weak little knife, not the axe/shovel please. -

noobs dont realize the implications of this, pls think this through, dont be so short sighted, if ur gun runs out of ammo, what do u do?, you have nothing, no gun, no knife, so u jsut walk around unable to hurt anyone?
also to delete knife they would have to make a whole new thing for people with knife, or guns, a new animation, all in all it is way to difficult to remove something that only a handfull of people support, -
How about, you make "knifer" a censored word.
Just make the little kids that complain about them STFU for a change. If Crossfire had a more mature community, this thread and the nonsensical kicks of melee users would be unknown.
And, maybe if lag is really the issue with melee users; then a forced auto-kick of players with detrimentally high latency for prolonged periods would be nice. They're essentially the "Weakest link" of the other gamers' connection, if I understand the protocols correctly.
