when is crossfire gonna upgrade so there are no hackers

It is not that simple to prove someone is hacking. There are alot of factors involved when a hackusation is made and a report is filed properly to the admins. Even then there is the TIME issue. So all i can say is life is not so easy as to push a ban button on suspected hackers.

FYI almost no game can ban hackers immediately unless there are staff on at the exact time someone is "hacking".

And free to play games are very difficult to eliminate hacking 100%. In our case we take measures like updating xtrap with the latest hacks, informing the developers of ways to stop hacking and most importantly working on our system of reporting so we can be the most efficient in banning hackers.

The later point we've changed recently. Unfortunately you are not the only one reporting 5 hackers in 2 days. There are hundreds of other people reporting supposed hackers.

We've created a better system to allow you to report hackers to us. But we still must review each case because there are a lot of false reports.

With f2p games there are a lot of people who come in, try the game out and don't realize that the person they are playing against is a 2 year veteran who plays first person shooters all the time. They get beat and then complain the player was hacking, send a report in and we have to determine the course of action. In this small example, it was a false report. Now multiply that times hundreds, and then add in the hundreds of REAL reports that actually contain hackers. You'll see that it's not just a simple position of trusting a player that they called someone out and that person should deserve a ban.


So having said all this. Just relax, we'll get to the reports and issue bans accordingly. Yes we do IP ban, yes do we do close alternate accounts, yes many different things are going on. We'll get to all the reports as time goes on. This new system is brand new and we're learning better and better ways to handle the hacking problem every day.
