Is this the most underrated rifle in the game?

I bought a standard today after wasting another 30k on the Camo crates, and it has performed beyond my expectations (from some limited CrossRoad pubs). It fires fast, the recoil goes straight up, it has a scope.

The scope allows for spam one-shotting, and it has fantastic no-spread bursts for closer ranges. The only downside I see for it is the poor spray pattern when extended beyond 5-10 bullets.

I found it rather long.

But being a gun that inclines me to aim/burst rather than spray, I don't find myself having to reload in tight situations.

If you haven't noticed, it's the most accurate rifle in the game. fact, not opinion.
The zoom in with the scope is the best headshotter.

I sold my AUG for the TAR... i like the TAR but i think the AUG is more accurate.

Its a headshot machine but like digging said, the reload is what makes it kind of...crappy.

The most underrated rifle is the QBZ for sure.

Ingame, i can press r, take a potty break, and come back seeing the reload animation nearly finish

I love the STEYR AUG! The reload rate is pretty slow but it is still a GREAT gun. Good damage, Good Recoil, good OWNAGE!

take alot of enemys with aug, maybe have a deagle camo backup because that reload will funk you

definitely an underrated gun, but its not used much because you have to have a certain play style to use it to its advantage. You probably should be as long range as possible and aim for the enemys head and definitely gotta be able to hit some nice shots. Ive tryed to adjust to the AUG-A1 play style before and its pretty hard, you might have to play different sites than what you used to. Most people like to spray, and play close mid range which is why you dont see many people using the AUG in scrims.

Ive seen a few people who are just amazing with this gun, none of them are still playing cf but if you can handle this gun and use it well you can be a huge threat

Considering I'm primarily the "close-mid sprayer" and I like the AUG, I'm probably going to use it to try and become somewhat decent at longer ranges. I really like the accuracy of its bursting - I'm hitting shots I would usually spray off slightly, and getting 5+ shots without any spread is really an advantage. I'll try to check out the Camo's reload speed, as an expanded clip & improved reload would be kickass.

I dropped the TAR because I don't really get its style. It doesn't seem as accurate, and recoil seems to stay big after an extended burst. Playing some 1.6 portable in school (very badly) made me like the AUG even more.

Would second the Deagle Camo as secondary, but not everyone has ZP or crate luck
