CrossFire needs a built in Anti-Cheat.
Personally I think X-Trap is a piece of rubbish.
I think it would suit everyone if CF just had a built in anti cheat like scrimspot. Instead it won't constantly scan your computer and make you lag. But instead Maybe take a screen shot or like a quick scan.
Personally the Quickscan would be much better and could issue out bans just like Steams VAC Client.
More efficient & more proactive than a goddamn useless X-trap patch.
Atm...Even scrims are FULL of blatant hackers. Right after X-trap patches like 2 hours later their is another hack out.

I believe this was from Counter-Strike, where some weird system scans the computer, (Like you said), and when they detect some kind of hacking device, it'll say to everyone, '(player name here) is using a (insert hack here), and has been banned'.
Yeah, we so need this BADLY. Tired of being in a same room with a bunch of infested BR's, (I don't play in Miami). +1
By the way, XTrap is just like the same thing, but sounds powerful and serious, and somewhat screws up the client L0L. But it does help out preventing the hacks though.

Lol Ikr. X-Trap seems to be just a slightly buffed gameguard. It's terrible. -

No its a verient of the exact same hack. XTrap has pretty much removed everything else. Once this hack is removed im pretty sure we wont see a public hack for some time. -
@ giggletron, im not sure xtrap is doing very good, theres still aimbotters, 1 shot hack, wall hack, box hack, no reload, and a bunch of stuff
Thats a VIP hack and are of less priority than a public hack because theyre not as widespread.
XTrap is a gift from God... it managed to stop more hacks than GameGuard ever did in a very short period of time....
Any other anti-hack's for FREE TO PLAY games are just jokes... look at HackShield Pro and what we used to use, GameGuard for example. -

Though a killdeath cam or something like the option in counter strike would be cool except it showed EXACTLY what was on their screen and you had an option to save it with like f1 or f5 or something. (so it doesn't take up that much space.) -

The replay system is more effective than that. you get to see the persons entire actions before and after you were killed. -
scrimming so so fun, yet almost every scrim has hack.ers
i go into downtown, and all the sudden a kid from the a window 1 shots me thro the hallway door
some of my clan mates r even gonna not even scrim anymore cuz of it

I wouldn't mind this idea. Aslong as the functions don't lag you for whatever reason, because if you take a 'snap-shot' ingame yourself, it gives you about a 1.2 second delay and freezes your screen for that matter of time.
If they get a non-lag anti-cheat update, then I am down for it. (Y) -
