Kay so I was clan warring Blood. I was using a M4A1, and I have 250 ping in Clan Server.
Blood members run Kriss & M12, and hence their characters move faster.
Result? I hardly get damage. They also get to kill me within 0.5 seconds of noticing me (they have pretty bad reaction times too).
I was not fragging at all. When I picked up the M12, I took out their team. I'm able to deliver 35/40 bullets to their body in a few seconds. No matter what lag or crap there is, it's an unreasonably easy gun to use.
Give the players who use M12 in S&D pubs a M4C (the best rifle in the game), and 90% will go neg.
EDIT: I should also point out that the simple playstyles are different. Using a normal rifle, an average player is inclined to stop firing or unpeek every 5 bullets to get recoil down, and enable a good shot. With the weapons listed, it is possible to go through 1/2 or the whole magazine without lifting your finger, because of the low recoil. This gives a very clear advantage. -
Well They are noobs guns because just noobs players use it. You need no skill for them as an ak47/xm8 ..
Scarl Light : It has a very fast fire rate for a rifle and very low recoil. As it say in item description " this weapon is superiority value" = OP..
Kriss/m12s/thompson : They are just spraying guns with imba low recoil. Spray n pray + that thompson is not heavy. if u walk with a knife in hand ur at the same speed as the thompson.. -
You're not listening. The noob guns are noob because no guns are better than them. Sure, the ak may be better than the famas, but the m4 is better than the ak, and the SL is better than the m4. Get it yet?You're half right. That same person would get a better score because they are using better weapons. That same person would get a better score with an AK than they would with a FAMAS. That doesn't make the AK a 'noob' weapon any more than it makes the SL a 'noob' weapon.
To me, a semi auto gun always takes more skill than an automatic one. This is strictly my viewpoint however,You are confusing 'more skill' with 'different skill'. It takes skill to close the distance gap with an SMG, using cover, to get to the sniper. It also takes skill to stare at a corner for two minutes ready to click the instant someone walks into your crosshairs. They both take skill, just different types.

I'm not riled up. I've made a very legitimate argument so far, but you're too thick to focus on the points i keep throwing at you over and over again. It's hard to get this point across to someone who frequently uses the scar light however. I obviously can't change your mind, although I don't really care. This is my last time posting on this thread. I've made my points as clear and evident as possible, while you just keep trying to undermine me with things I have already explained and picking apart every possible thing I say, as is evident by the fact you quote me 5-6 times per post and completely disagree with what I say for each of them. My point has been proven as much as possible. But overall, I feel that if an unbiased person saw our little thread here, they'd understand my logic. Unfortunately, you're not unbiased.Looked down on? There's nothing to stop you from using these weapons, master them as you wish. But the thought of you being "pro" and using the SCAR-L is laughable. The gun has high power, low recoil per rate of fire and a damn fast reload. It is better than every other assault rifle in the game, hence the reason it is overpowered, and thus a noob gun. While you can use them(in public matches), nobody will respect you, since they will blame all of your kills on the gun you are using. If you use a balanced gun and get a lot of kills, you will be respected for your skill.... -
i like scar l, its easy to use=more kills=more super happy fun fun. lol if m4-c/someother good zp wep was a gp perm wep in item mall would that make it OP? cuz u know apparently in CF china m12s is zp gun. i think.

I guess logic doesn't come easily for those who choose to defend overpower guns, hence their stance on the issue. A noobcannon is not defined relative to another single weapon. It is defined relative to the weapons offered in the game as a whole (arguably mainly to the specific weapon type), and there is ONE line drawn as to the overpowered and the rest.That same person would get a better score with an AK than they would with a FAMAS. That doesn't make the AK a 'noob' weapon any more than it makes the SL a 'noob' weapon.
The Scar Light has too few disadvantages compared to other guns. If someone bothered to PROPERLY (directed at current reviewers who make up scores on the spot) review weapons for useful attributes, the guns hailed as noobcannons will be on top.
If you played in any situation that could be anyhow defined as slightly competitive, you would understand why sniping is much harder. Scarlight is the best gun in the game.
M12s is a close second. People think they're pro by using inferior weapons and then cuss at you calling you a noob because they died. Then they QQ "omg imma suggest what weapons other people lose because I'm too stuck up to just buy it. QQQQQ"
Kriss is basically M12s + downs. Same story with Tommy.
I never said they weren't good. But they're not for pro people neither.
The thing I hate about them is that people think they're so good and start saying "hahaha i killed you! you suck noob!" and it gets on your nerves. THEY cuss you when they kill you. Also people complain about them because THEY'RE OP!

I wanna give me opinion.
M12s: Good at any range, may look like a staple gun, but it shoots damn bullets.
S-Light: I can sometimes tollerate it with noobs, but it's still OP stat wise.
Kriss: Fun gun, still OP, but still fun.
Thompson: Power of the MP5, about the same Fire-rate, and it's not as accurate as you think. I only use mine for MM though, so whatever.
M4A1's: High accuracy like S-Light, not so much recoil, but it's there. Good spray pattern.
AK-47:3 bullet kill, but high recoil. If you spray, you gotta practice.
AWM: I don't get this gun. Pin point accuracy, one hit kill[except for legs], everyone has one[just about]. I don't see how it's not a noob cannon still.If I'm spectating someone, I'll see someone shooting someone without even having the crosshair on them. I know it's a flickshot and all, but jeez...just doesn't seem like something realistic. But it's an opinion I guess.

If you have read anything I wrote, I clearly stated that I do no care whether a gun is a "sniper" or an "assault rifle". They are all guns to me. With that being said, you do not need to insult me, since you don't even know me. Heck, get off this thread instead of flaming. And about this "spray and pray" thing people keep talking about. Most of the people who use Deagle or Deagle variants click AS FAST AS THEY CAN. Join any pistol-only game and you can see them reload every 4 seconds. Even in "pro" montages and whatnot, you can see that the players with deagles overfire at least 3 bullets each kill. -

I really can't understand how you're so dense.
The Scar Light, M12s, Thompson, and Kriss Super V are considered overpowered for the following reasons, with some exceptions applying to a few guns.
Maneuverability - Every one of the aforementioned guns are light and give the user an advantage over many other guns.
Power - All of these guns are a one-shot headshot at almost any range, and 3-4 bodyshot kill.
Rate of Fire - All of these guns of a superb rate of fire, allowing the user to fire off numerous shots in rapid succession.
Accuracy - All of these guns are EXTREMELY accurate. Point, hold down left click, all you bullets go on target.
Recoil - Almost none to speak of.
Reload Rate - All of these guns reload at a good speed with the exception of the Thompson, which compensates by having a 60 round clip and good ammo duration.
Most guns have a combination of these attributes to make gameplay balanced whilst offering varying playstyles. These guns have ALL these attributes.
Oh and by the way, your AWM one-hit kill argument is really weak. How's it not obvious to see the drawbacks? Extremely heavy resulting in horrendous maneuverability, which forces you to stick to that drawback or suffer another one in the form of having your melee/secondary out. Getting hit by bullets while scoped in usually results in your shot missing and death. Missing a shot results in a 2 second-ish frame of time where you can't shoot again. To prove my previous argument, the AWM combines accuracy and power to make a BALANCED weapon. The M700 is also balanced since it's a 2 hit body kill/one hit headshot. The M700 combines maneuverability, rate of fire, ammo duration, and accuracy to make another viable, balanced sniper rifle.FriedBanana wrote: »All I have is M700 / M16, so lay off. I top frag in pistol only matches using an Anaconda. I go for headshots the majority of the time. -

Unlike M12, not all your shots land in target. Besides, I countersnipe AWMers on Egypt with a DE-S. With two shots. Bodyshot + Headshot, or two headshots. Get to my level, than talk. -
We're not really concerned about the rookie server because you really can't play there for very long before outranking it and having to move to real servers.
And yes, the Scar-L is accessible to all, making it FAIR. What isn't fair? Armor, Kriss, Gatling gun in M.M. They all require ZP to get, giving the ZP buyers an unfair advantage.

If you use one of those weapons, chances are you can't use anything but it. And no it's not because your a "PROSCARLITEUSAR", it's because you need it to compensate for your lack of skill.
When you use another gun, it actually takes some time to master and get good with it. The guns you mentioned take no time to master at all.
If you want to use a Scrub Light; go ahead, but don't complain about being called a noob just because you're too unoriginal to use something else and better yourself. -
