Disconnecting Randomly

Right, i just got a new lapotp a few days ago, i installed cf and so on. When i'm in a game be it a scrim or pub crossfire just cuts out as if my internet has went off but it's still on as i'm talking on vent.

I used to have windows vista and now have windows 7, i was wondering if that was the problem. Anyone have any ideas because its really annoying getting cut out half way through a scrim.
