Okay, if you don't like it, then you don't like it.
I just want to know what makes these categories different:
- Easy to use
- "Noob" / Requires no skill
- Great Gun -
it's a noob cannon because it's:
Extremely easy to use
highly accurate
high power
light weight
and fk loads of ammo
So you're talking about M4's? M4-C? It's also got a silencer added btw.
Or the Axe?
DSR?
XM8-Adv?
Maybe the XM - Adv -

Easy to use = Any gun where firing is as simple as clicking your mouse.
Noob = Any gun these whiney kids are using.
Great gun = whatever it is I'm using. -

Ok, you really just seem to be trying to extend this argument as long as possible.
You have to have gotten the point by now; the SL, m12s, tommy, etc. are considered noob guns because, for how easy they are to obtain, they are the EASIEST guns to use and require the least amount of skill to use.
Sure, the m4 isn't exactly a pro gun, but it is not as easy to use. Some guns are easier to use than others, the thing is though, the SL, m12s, etc. are easier to use than the rest of the guns in the game. As they are, they have a perfect balance of power and accuracy, making them potential game winners in the hands of someone who would do below average with, say, an ak47.
Incase you still arent getting it, let me put this into terms of cars; now, for the sake of argument, lets say we have the Ferrari (SL, tommygun, and m12s), the Corvette (m4), and the Honda (ak47). Sure, the Corvette can easily beat the Honda, but its STILL not as good as the Ferrari. While the Corvette may have an advantage over most of the others, its STILL easier to win a race with the Ferrari. While, the outcome may all depend on the skill of the driver, an early advantage goes to the person with the best car (the gun, incase you're not following). -

hmm well they are easily seperate in my mind
But some guns i suck with and some i dont, some i see the WORST players get rediculous ratios with, but they get a diff gun and go 0-13
These categories will vary from person to person as well. Like i said, this is an opinion thread. And I (poorly) stated my opinion.
And yes i do kind of agree with the post you made, "There are no noob guns just haters" As ive seen almost EVERY gun get called a noob gun (other than pistols). -

early advantage is a yes
late advantage it goes to the guy with best skill

1. No, I still haven't "gotten" "it". All I've been told is that guns fall into those 3 categories, which seem like the same .
2. So you say the more difficult a gun is to use, the better and less "noob" it is?
3. The AWM, M4-C, DSR, AK47, and many other guns all have pinpoint accuracy and tremendous damage.
4. No, there is no need to relate this to cars or anything else.Easy to use-Can easily be mastered but still die a lot
Noob/Requires no skill-You spray and pray, you get multikill and get called NOOB
Great gun-A good gun for the person using it

BUMPS
Almost every gun fits into ALL three categories. Goodbye, you have no argument, and I appreciate you for leaving this thread. -
Close this thread naw plox
No, someone still needs to explain to me the differences between those categories, and why guns that are not frowned upon, like M4-C, Ak's , AWM, etc. fit in "great gun / easy to use" yet not in "noob".
May you please leave this thread, Zerantol2, I see that you are of no help. -

No, that makes them *better* gun. A noob gun is what the 1-15 guy is using.Sure, the m4 isn't exactly a pro gun, but it is not as easy to use. No real argument here, we can agree that the scarlight and the m12s are the best guns in the game. It just seems wrong that you can make assumptions about someone's skill simply by the kind of weapon they use. I kill SL users all the time with other guns, and on the other hand, I deal with it when they kill me. And then I switch bags to the scar light.Incase you still arent getting it, let me put this into terms of cars; now, for the sake of argument, lets say we have the Ferrari (SL, tommygun, and m12s), the Corvette (m4), and the Honda (ak47). Let me stop you right there. The corvette and the ferrari are prohibitively expensive, and inaccessible to most people, unlike the scar light, where ANYONE, regardless of skill or ZP can use it.While the Corvette may have an advantage over most of the others, its STILL easier to win a race with the Ferrari. While, the outcome may all depend on the skill of the driver, an early advantage goes to the person with the best car (the gun, incase you're not following).
Except I don't drag race ferraris, and call the driver a noob when I lose. Now, if you got to pick your car, and you DIDN'T pick the ferrari, you would be a total idiot. -

Easy to use guns have:M4A1 (and related),ak-47(and related),deagle(and related) and some others
Noob cannons are:Scarl,m12s
Great gun is whatever fits the user best

1. "Gotten it" would only need 1 set of quotation marks. Just sayin..
2. The more difficult a gun is to use, the less noob it is, yes.
3. AWM is allowed to have pinpoint accuracy and tremendous damage because it is a SNIPER RIFLE. You only fire once before you have to re**** the gun, unlike an assault rifle which shoots 30.
B. The ak47 only has pinpoint accuracy for 1-2 shots. After that, it sprays. You have to click on and off to get it to stay in one area.
C. The m4-c does not have tremendous damage, nor is its accuracy stellar.
D. DSR is also a sniper rifle. Same rules apply as do for AWMs.
4. I like references...

1. I honestly do not care if a gun falls into "sniper rifle" class or "assault rifle" class. If Crossfire DID add an explosive weapons class with nukes and missiles, then perhaps that would be fair too then.
2. The AK47's spray can easily be maneuvered to stay within a small horizontal line.
3. The M4's accuracy is pinpoint accuracy. It's recoil is minuscule as well. -

Unfortunately, a noob gun is a noob gun becuase it IS the best. Didn't catch that with the car reference, eh?No, that makes them *better* gun. A noob gun is what the 1-15 guy is using.
I deal with them too, and I also have no problem dealing with it. I find no need to switch to the scar though, seeing as if they're easy to beat, I shouldn't have to.No real argument here, we can agree that the scarlight and the m12s are the best guns in the game. The car reference was not at all based upon price, it was based upon the speed of the cars.Let me stop you right there. The corvette and the ferrari are prohibitively expensive, and inaccessible to most people, unlike the scar light, where ANYONE, regardless of skill or ZP can use it.
And that is the logic behind people choosing noob weapons; easiest to use.Except I don't drag race ferraris, and call the driver a noob when I lose. Now, if you got to pick your car, and you DIDN'T pick the ferrari, you would be a total idiot. -
1. A sniper is fair because it takes skill to be able to aim at someone who is running at you, with possible obstacles in the way, at a possibly awkward angle, and kill them with 1 bullet what a person with an assault rifle would have used possibly a whole clip to kill. True, grenade launchers would complete the same feat, but now you're just looking for things to fight with me about. In a game with rifles and smgs, obviously a grenade launcher is going to be the best gun.
2. It might be easy for YOU, but the majority of people do not have the time or pacience to master it, so they bust out their easy to use m12s and they're set.
3. No. Just no. -
That's what you've been trying to hear this whole time? Seriously? Of course that's what it means. A noob gun is a noob gun because it is the easiest to use. Why is it easy? Because it's the best. Why can a total noob use it? Because it requires no skill to use. In other words, easy. In other words, good.FriedBanana wrote: »Good, sianxyz, we have reached the same conclusion:

No sianxyz, I have been confused on what you were arguing against. I want to be persuaded that the community is somehow not wrong and that M4's, AK's, AWm, Deagle, etc. are not noob guns. No one has accomplished to do so, and I was hoping that it would happen.
I do not see how rarity and power are related, pigy. -
I cannot possibly explain possibly beyond that of which I already have. Give an ak, or an awm, or a deagle, to somebody who has NEVER played this game before, and they will not get a stellar score. That same person, with that same amount of skill, would get a BETTER score using any of the noob guns because they are completely over powered.FriedBanana wrote: »No sianxyz, I have been confused on what you were arguing against. As of yet, there is no noob sniper, nor will there ever be, because snipers require the most skill of all of the guns to use. Yes, its a 1 hit kill, but you only have 1 bullet.
Nor is there a noob pistol, because, while the deagle is at the top of the pack for pistols, it still requires significant skill to use a pistol efficiently.
An ak is arguably the hardest assault rifle to use, and does require moderate skill and time to use correctly.
The m4 is arguably the easiest gp assault rifle to use, however, it does NOT have great damage, and its accuracy varies depending upon the type.
The overall point is, if Person A has an m12s while Person B has an ak, and both Persons have the EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF SKILL, Person A will get the better score. Noob guns are noob guns because they are the best. They are a special tier that no other guns are quite up to snuff with. They are the top of the line and, while some are close, the m12s and SL are the most infamous noob guns and as such, are the easiest guns to use in the game. And arguably the best. If you don't understand it at this point, I'm sorry. I can't explain it any better. You are just way to stubborn to convince. Just know that the rest of the community knows what noob guns are, and you WILL be looked down upon for resorting to them. -

You're half right. That same person would get a better score because they are using better weapons. That same person would get a better score with an AK than they would with a FAMAS. That doesn't make the AK a 'noob' weapon any more than it makes the SL a 'noob' weapon.
As of yet, there is no noob sniper, nor will there ever be, because snipers require the most skill of all of the guns to use. Yes, its a 1 hit kill, but you only have 1 bullet.
You are confusing 'more skill' with 'different skill'. It takes skill to close the distance gap with an SMG, using cover, to get to the sniper. It also takes skill to stare at a corner for two minutes ready to click the instant someone walks into your crosshairs. They both take skill, just different types.
Nor is there a noob pistol, because, while the deagle is at the top of the pack for pistols, it still requires significant skill to use a pistol efficiently.
Someone hasn't used the dual colts yet....
An ak is arguably the hardest assault rifle to use, and does require moderate skill and time to use correctly.
Actually that would be the FAMAS. Being the crappiest assault rifle in CF, it takes the most skill to use. Using your logic, you're a noob for using your overpowered ak noobcannon.
The m4 is arguably the easiest gp assault rifle to use, however, it does NOT have great damage, and its accuracy varies depending upon the type.
Scar Light is the easiest one to use, remember? You were just trying to tell us how it's a noob gun and it takes no skill? It also happens to be the best gun.

I would go ahead and say that "Person A" is more intelligent, due to the fact that they had the presence of mind to use a superior weapon.Just know that the rest of the community knows what noob guns are, and you WILL be looked down upon for resorting to them.
Looked down on? More like despised and raged at. It's pretty funny to get noobs like you all riled up.
