Is there any way to get a better internet speed

Hi all.
I am with BT Broadband and sharing with other 2 flatmates now. These 2 download and watch smt online so I can't play at all, my ping is totally unfixed and jumping sometime to over 1000. I can only play if they are both offline. I am also not possible to get another broadband because there is only one BT line in my apartment.Really annoying.
I just want to know that is there anyway to improve or limit banwidth to each computers, so I could play, even a bit high ping (about 80).

    Tell them to stop doing stuff. Not possible to play with other people is very common, like my sisters use the internet at night and it gets annoying, so you have the average problem.

    If they are downloading from torrent they cant reduce the allocation of bandwith by right-clicking on the downloading file and choose Bandwith Allocation. So it will make you less laggy. (Also mention them that they also need to recude UPLOAD speed)

    If its not from torrent.. idk. theres probably some software that can handle bandwith allocation on each computer.
