Question about reports.

:confused:Yeah i was just wonderin in the new hack report system about a couple things. for starters the "rounds they were hacking" part..its kinda...not very easy to put something there. What are ya supposed to do lol. And for the time hacking, I always put the real life time, but maybe thats more insight into the "time" in the match.
So yeah just wondering.

  • I just do the last round, if the hacker played the whole game. It depends what round you put in and how many. For MM usually do 17. SnD-13. I once left it blank.

Time hacking is the duration of the replay, so if you see something obvious at 5 min mark etc. "Rounds they were hacking" is where the player joins or where you think its obvious that they're hacking. (Round wise)

Hope this clears things up :)

If hes hacking from the beginning write 1. So we know to watch from the beginning etc.
  • This is just sad in a way.

I know who's hacking in the replay, so why must I go through extra motions and watch the whole match AGAIN and tell you things that can be found out by the GM's watching it? It's not cutting back on search time for anyone.

Tell us around what round when it happened. We are not asking for you to watch the entire replay again and fill out the exact time/round the player started to hack.

    Simple as that.
  • if player "a" at one point becomes overly interested in the walls, that happen to show in the replay Him following peoples name tags thru the walls. and this happens at round 3 3:30 secs... then givening them that info will make it easier to for them to see what behavior you say they have that leads you tho think they hack....

OR, we could all go "OMGGGGGGGGGGG BR-URNOmatador is all lIKE shooting at me!!! i die but he does NOTTTT HE KNOWS WHERE I AMMMM SEEEEE!!!! watch replay is obvious!!!"

They now have to watch the entire replay looking for things evidence that is prob not there, (otherwise you would point it out)......

They WANT you to watch the replays and find proof of your hackuasation againts another player... Other wise people would just get ****ed at some kid cause they got lucky a few times and send a report in... They figure that if you yourself can't find evidence to show for your case againts the player, there prob is not any......

THIS WHOLE thing would be no big deal if you could fastforward and rewind....
(im not defending the report system, i had sent speed hackers and invisi hack replays in (back in the day) and no action was ever taken... but as it stands, having the players review the replay before sending it in helps streamline it a little)
