Buying weapons above your level will work?

Hello all...I'm new to the forums but have been playing casually for just over a year now. I've recently decided to spend money on this game..What I'd like to know is can I use a weapon that is higher leveled than me if I was to purchase it through the item mall?

I'm planning on getting some ZP points then use some of it to get 20K GP then use that to buy a sniper rifle. My concern is will I be able to use the rifle if I am lower leveled. THanks

Yep you can. A trainee had an AWM-Camo because he got it from the item mall.

Never mind guys I just realized that It will not allow me to buy a higher lvl weapon with GP since the weapon would be grayed out and be non-selectable for purchase since I haven't reached the level where I can use it.

What I did was to see if I would have the option to purchase the rifle right now knowing that I don't have enough GP. And I'm not able to click the "BUY" button because its grayed out. thanks

ZP weapons, and those got from crates/coupons do not have any level restrictions. The only restriction is that you have to be sargeant to actually buy GP crates. Other than that, weapons are completely free of rank barrier in the ZP scene.
