Ati cards and CF engine??

Im getting ugly framerate drops (30-40) on port/blackwidow maps and the bullet marks are missing... Videocard: radeon hd 4670 OS: xp sp3

Is there possibility to communicate this to amd/ati? I hate using old drivers coz of CF.

yeah same video card, same problem. Check on ATI website for driver updates

Notice how he said he hates having to use old drivers, I think he's having that problem after an update. I almost never play those maps so I don't know if I have it too (I didn't update my drivers in months anyway)

not amds problem. cf just has a shtty engine that doesnt like ati cards. my shtty onboard nvidia gpu gave me like 60-80 fps while a 5770 gives me 60-100 in 8v8.

But the game runs ok with very old drivers. Its weird.

i always had the same fps. from 10.2 drivers to 10.7.

yeah. always 60-100 fps. sometimes it just stays at 40 fps for a few matches

This game uses the same engine as CF (Lithtech Jupiter EX) and it looks a lot better!

Iv knowticed the missing bullet thing too. but thats prolly due to my 1gb ram and nivida geforce fx 5200...

I pretty much have the same card, 5730 mobility [which i believe is a 5650=4670]. Anyhow, I was getting horrible framerates also, so I went into CCC and lowered everything in 3D to performance rather than quality [not much to look at in CF anyhow]. Make everything in CF low as well, I saw a 2x jump in FPS [from around 50-60 to about 100-120].
