Just thought I'd say hello...
Brand new to these forums and the game...
I played during open beta way back and really liked the game, but didn't stick with it because I liked Combat Arms more, but since the most recent update to Combat Arms my lag went way up so I can't play it anymore. So I thought I'd come back here.
Anyways, that's a quick background on how I ended up here and once again I'm saying hello to all you Crossfire players.
I've got a lot to learn about this game, but it looks like a good time. I've actually got an idea for a new game mode they could add, but I'll wait until I get a good grasp on this game before suggesting it.

I'm liking the game a lot. The only thing I'm gonna have to work at really hard is sniping. It's quite a change from Combat Arms. When you fire a bolt action sniper, it doesn't automatically scope back in for you in Combat Arms, but in this game it does.
The other thing that's throwing me off is the scope. I'm used to the standard cross, but this one has that dot in the middle, with the lines around it that move in and out as you move (I'm guessing it's to show how much spread your shot will have at that moment).
Anyways, that's what I've noticed so far. The only question I have for you guys is that I seem to get into a lot of CQBs and for that reason I'm wondering which weapon would be the best for CQB (Close Quarters Battle in case you don't know what I'm talking about)? I remember in the Open Beta I bought an MP5 and tore it up with that gun, but I want to get a 2nd opinion on this...

On the snipers scoping back in after you shoot: Once you click fire, press QQ as fast as possible. It pulls out your secondary then your main back out. Keeps it from scoping back in and once you get a habit of doing it instantaneously you can actually fire faster then the regular "shoot, wait, shoot".
