Mouse and Keyboard failing since Xtrap update.

Since today's xtrap update my mouse gets stuck very times and at the same time my keyboard stops working too. After a while things go back to normal but it's annoying most of the times when I'm trying to aim at someone and my keyboard and mouse fail. Don't know if this a game bug, my account or my keyboard and mouse are not working proprely. I apreciate if someone can help me.

I experienced the same issue in a FFA game. I was running forward and tried to stop. My character continued to run forward and the mouse and keyboard were unresponsive.

annoying because most of the time, when I'm turning my aim the mouse stops in the middle of the way and I die -.-

It happens to me as well when I scroll lock+x.

I just scroll lock+x again a couple times and it stops.

I will tell you guys how to fix it.

Steps:

1-Uninstall Crossfire
2-Restart Your PC
3-Download A Fresh Crossfire Copy
4-Install Crossfire
5-Restart Your PC

If the problem still, send a report to Z8Games and tell them to help you with it. They will give you a link to see info and help, then you will solve the problem. Another thing is that, make sure your PC has no virus.

DONE, exactly as instructed, and it made no difference. I dont know what is causing this, but it's very aggravating.

it came when Xtrap updated yesterday , then it updated this morning and it was gone ,
and then xtrap updated again and the problem came back -.-

Yes, it is xtrap. This morning I played one match w/o problem and then I exit CF. When I came back, I had to do this xtrap update, exactly when the problem began.

Same thing.

Random sliding/floating along the floor for sometimes as long as 2 (two!!!) seconds, fixed at the same speed and the same direction you were moving in before it froze. No FPS drop. Usually stops when you bump into a wall. Occasionally the mouse doesn't move, and if it happens while you're firing a weapon, it just keeps on spraying until your clip is empty. On top of that, if you are mid-air, landing will deliver massive damage, regardless of the height of your fall.

Since yesterday's X-trap update I've been experiencing difficulties listed above. Can't be a ping issue, because I have a steady never-spiking 52ms. At first I thought that these may be video card/keyboard/mouse errors, so I did a thorough check and clean-up of my PC, but that hasn't helped. Also, other people in the game started complaining about having the same problems.

Another X-trap update followed later and the entire issue was gone completely, not a single problem during 4+ hours of gameplay. I was a happy bunny.

Then the kind folks over at X-trap decided to update yet again, bringing back all the bugs and glitches in full effect. This time I did a clean reinstall of Crossfire just to be 100% sure it's not a problem on my end. Well, it's not.

Patiently waiting for this to be fixed.

I have this problem, and I just made some timed purchases from Z8 mall, and I cannot even play the game, it it so bad. I mean, they just got rid of all the hackers, I could be owning right now, but I do good to go even k/d. Please fix this issue, as promptly as possible. Thanks

I get this error/bug too. I'm using a Logitech G15 keyboard along with a logiteech g500 mouse.

Please fix this problem as soon as possible as it affects game play a great deal.

Thanks mod, glad to see a response , I know you guys are busy over there, and we appreciate all of it, so thanks , and hope it is nothing big,....
PS now I have uninstalled my os and installed vista to see if its an XP conflicting bug... I will update

Omfg.. I was trying to find a solution all this morning.. i ended up smashing my mouse against the table.. didn't work lol then i found this thread.. well.. when's it ganna be fixed lol?
