Replay Temp

I forgot to save a replay. No problem, I just alt tabbed out and rename the replay temp file. However, I didn't realize that the extension had to be called .cfr since one of my friend doesn't rename the extension cfr and his works fine. When I go into my replays in game, it doesn't show up. Is there anyway I could fix this problem? I have the replay saved but as a rivatuner preset file (.rtp?).

If you are unable to change the file extension you may have to change a setting to allow windows to display file extensions of known filetypes. Open Control Panel and then open "Folder Options". Navigate to the "view" tab, then scroll down until you see "hide extensions for known filetypes". Clear the check mark and apply. After that you should be able to rename the file with the proper .cfr extension.
