Disconnecting while playing crossfire
Sometimes when i am in a room and play 10 min it disconnect and my honour is going bad too. why do i disconnect ?!?!? it is so annoying.and this is annyoing too when i play a game i forget to change jump but when i go to options and click control and change , i cant jump, it doesnt change(when i am in a game , not in lobby ).I HATE CHAMMERS TOO

Do you get a Error, when you disconnect?
Ensure, that your keyboard language settings are set to English (USA). Otherwise you wont be able to jump and Crossfire wont run properly..and this is annyoing too when i play a game i forget to change jump but when i go to options and click control and change , i cant jump, it doesnt change(when i am in a game , not in lobby ).
This is taken from the Common Solutions Thread:Keyboard fixes.
Please make sure your keyboard is set to US English. There is no current support for other languages.
Instructions for Windows Vista
1. Click Start and then Control Panel
2. In Control Panel, if you are in Classic View, click on Control Panel Home (top left corner)
3. Open Clock, Language, and Region
4. Click on Regional and Language Options.
5. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab and then click Change keyboards.
6. Under Installed services, click Add.
7. In the Add Input Language dialog box, select the keyboard layout you would like to add from the list available and click OK.
8. The keyboard layout you added will be included in the list. To set the new layout as your default, select it from the list. Click OK to save your changes
9. You can switch between different input languages (= keyboard languages) by clicking on the Language Bar button or by pressing the Alt + Shift keys

6. Under Installed services, click Add.

8. Click OK twice. You should now see a language indicator in the System Tray (located at bottom right hand corner of the desktop by default). You can switch between different input languages (= keyboard languages) by pressing the Alt + Shift keys
If a language does not appear in the Input language list, the fonts for that language might not be installed. If that is the case, follow the instructions below.
Add language support
1. Click Start and then Control Panel

5. Under Supplemental language support, select the check box beside the applicable language collection

Same here. People freeze for a couple of seconds, then 'Failed to connect to host server'.
Getting on my nerves, especially when you're playing a good scrim and are forced to let your clan down that way.
I'm on both wired and wireless and nobody else is playing here.
Any known solutions? -
i get failed to connect to host server in middle of matcjes and if i dont get that it will freeze then kick me to lobby or DC , just started after patch . I havent play but only 2 matches after patch because of this.Same here. People freeze for a couple of seconds, then 'Failed to connect to host server'.

Ok, it's getting messy now.
I had the host server issue about once a day before the latest patch.
But now, it seems to get worse every day. Like 1 out of 3 matches i get kicked out of because of this damn host trouble.
Someone please tell me there's a decent solution for this. -
I bought my laptop 2 months ago, 4 gig ram and stuff, so i'm sure he can handle the game.
And i never dc while playing other online games, only happens while playing CF. Also i dont get kicked out of the game, just out of the match, so i keep my internet connection. -

I'm using AVG.
And that thread doesnt really give a solution to my problem.
I've put crossfire in the exceptions list, but no difference. -
Sadly this connect to host error message has got out of hand....
It needs to be fixed a better solution NEEDS to be answerd ..
Cf is losing many of there players because of this and at this point
im thinking on trying new games .. cuz with me ive had the problem
for at least a month 1/2 .. i just dealed with it.. but now i try to play
it and when i get to log in page it automatically says connect to host
error... I cant even play .. and if i do (which recently just happend) my
ping (or status) MAINTAINES 1500 .. i love playing CF but how am i
suppose to play if this keeps happening .. please i realy need help ..
i would very much appriciate some tips .. thanks =/
