In-game sounds muffled
So I had to fix my Ventrilo settings since it was giving me problems, I tweak the volume controls here and there. After my problem was solved I play CF, to find out my sounds are muffled (gun noises, lobby music, voice commands, everything)
Im seeking help as to what setting I need to fix, such as device volume, master, wave, and CD volume, ect.

It might not be the microsoft volume thingy that's wrong with your computer. Make sure you check this..
Can you hear any music without the game on?
Did you check the sound volume in-game? >> More important
The sound volume in-game would be the sound that would make the appallingly loud footstep noises, the earwrapping gunshot noises, and the sound of when you c.ock your rifle. -

I can hear music just fine, and my in-game sound volume was always the same.
