Cannot install the CF installer

2 months ago I tried to play CF again and when i tried to patch the game, it stopped in the middle of the patch and said failed to patch. So I read some forum article and it said reinstall the game.

Now i have tried to reinstall many many times.. but i get the same problem.

Once I finished installing teh installer, i double click the installer and my computer freezes up.
Windows explorer (not internet explorer) stops responding and i have to restart it.

I've deleted the installer and reinstalled it many times but the same problem occurs.

HOW DO I FIX THIS!?!??!

    u have to change the settin for cf
    like right-click on CF look 4 explore,
    after that try 2 look for Gbox4.exe right-click it find properties
    when u did that click the arrow n find window XP or anything with window as a name
    after that do the same thing to the other 4 with .EXE at the end of the name

    i had the same problem but my friend helpped me out by doing n if it doesnt work then i dont noe buttry this first.
