Ping spikes..

ever since i got my new win7 pc i have been having constant ping spikes. i cant ever play A single game.. idk what it is with my pc and cf but my ping doesnt spike like that in cs or any other game.. can someone help me out..?

Don't think it has much to do with win7. But yeah funnily enough i'm on win7 and am having spikes. Trying to play on 150, from the usual 50. Mucho diff, it's the servers.

Windows 7 64 bit lag..

yesterday i got my new pc windows 7 64 bit and my lag on na used to be 9 and now goes to 40-50, up and down

Its been compatible since MM came out. I remember it well :P
I havent gotten ping spikes ever since I got Win7.

my ping is usually 39... now it between 100-350, sometimes it even gets up to 1000

p.s my pc is 64 bit also.

Um...are you sure there isn't any updates? When I first got Win7, I started to get a lot of updates that started to download by themselves...

that happened to me too.. but i finished all the updates like 3 days ago.

Whilst in-game, go into Task Manager, and make CrossFire 'low priority'.

????? Cookie why XD? I have win7 64bits ping is 48-55. The real problem is that the game doesn't fill my screen so I only can use a little part of the screen while playing cf. What is the point of 1920x1080 if it doesn't even fill the screen!?

Crossfire staff, we have voted for 1920x1080 resolution a lon time ago and still haven't got it. Remember it was long time ago because I was on 1024 res and new I would change my gear months after that.

+1 for 1920x1080 resolution, I'm looking for a new laptop and I'm not dropping down to 1366x768.

sigh

every minute, i spike to 800

every 5 minutes i spike to 3000, and sometimes 7000

i cant complete a scrim without disconnecting cuz of my spike
