Crossfire won't open?

I just formated one of my PC's and placed Windows XP 64 bit on it.

I downloaded DirectX 9, I'm on an Administrator account, and I downloaded the new version of Crossfire.

When I open it and click start, the screen goes full and black. Then suddenly it closes and XTRAp closes and that's it. What's the problem?

Before that it would open fullscreen then suddenly it would say there was an error and ask me to send an error report.

I've alread re-installed 3 times. I have no antivirus and my firewall is off.

Help?
