CrossFire Machinima?

So, I was trying to make a video with my friends but it isn't being that easy. But then, I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf7fkCup2xs for an old Crossfire Machinima Contest... How do they activate that mode? Do they press a special key or do they change something in Options? Plz help!!

When you complete a match, next to the "ok" button is a button named "save". Press it, name your replay, then go to storage and click "replay".

Hmmm I see... So during the game I have to "act" knowing that I can cut and edit the video after that?
