I agree with you, the damage registration in this game is pretty bad. Unfortunately, that has a lot to do with Lithtech engine. It is not the greatest engine to go with and unfortunately comes with its fair share of bad coding. That isn't going to change any time soon. However, damage registration can be improved by limiting the difference in pings across the players, among other things of course. Best way would be to get rid of Lithtech and I'm sure that isn't remotely possible. We're just going to have to deal with it :-/

The best way that I see is reducing server/overall latency. Cap the pings to certain ranges per server so that there isn't a huge difference in pings. The only other thing that would help, but not a lot, is an improvement in the damage prediction code. Even so, that wouldn't help much against someone with 40ms ping against a 250ms ping. Fix the ping difference and you will see a drastic improvement in damage registration. Maybe not perfect, but certainly better than now.

Don't hold me to these words but I do believe CF Korea is on a different engine. Do some research on it. If I find the pictures I will link them. It looks pretty different than what we have here. Good news there is that's an attempt at a new engine in at least one of the versions.

If you have used the RPK Gold, all guns in CF Korea sway like it. -
the uzi is 2 shot kill to the head. when u shot him the first time, his head moved back a little, and since the uzi shoots so dam fast, the second bullet flew right by his head RIGHT AT THE MOMENT at which his head moved.

If this were true, I would still call that a fail. What is the point of the jerk back in this game anyways? the reg has been getting worse but i believe what i said in the previous post is true, and its not a glitch, just a ret@rded animation that screws people over
and lmao. i had a dream and in that dream at some point z9 said they have fixed the reg... well its just gonna stay a dream then.
