Why STAR IS appropriate.
I'm tired of hearing that S.T.A.R is a flight attendant, and arguments about how heels shouldn't be in CF, so this will be MY argument as to why S.T.A.R is acceptable in this game.
Based on the information given in the description it would be a logical conclusion that S.T.A.R is a Malaysian spy/coast guard. Now I don't know if you noticed, spies and the coast guard don't run around in khaki and desert camo carrying m4 carbines.
"Wow, more stupid asian p0rn." ...Women don't wear panties? News to me.
"S.T.A.R looks more like a flight attendant than a soldier!" Uh, no...S.T.A.R looks like a typical Female airforce/navy/coast guard officer.
"You can't run in heels." You also can't carry a gatling gun, put 40 9mm bullets in a pistol clip, or not kill someone at 45 feet with a winchester. Just sayin'

Appropriate or not she still makes the game look stupid. I can't show Cross Fire to my friends who play "real" FPS games like Quake or Counter Strike. They just go "lol wtf is this teeny bopper doing here?
And a military officer going into the field wouldn't be wearing a damn skirt and high heels.
In fact I can't think of a single military where the uniform is skirt and high heels.

Real fps game? I'm sorry define real fps game. As far as I know a fps game is a game where your view is first person and you shoot things, in that case this IS a real fps. -

Agreed, perhaps their are females who would rather have a character that wear a skirt and heels then one that has hair like a women who plays with other females and drinks at a bar called the Pink *****cats. -

Had my steam account since 05 I think and played Ghost Recon long before that. My point in that was that this is a FPS game. So it steps out of the norm. Big deal, some people perfer that. If you want to stick inside the box of a straight fps game go play CSS. -

Notice I said I "THINK". But that's besides the point. The point is he/she was bein a smart ass... S.T.A.R. is lame also btw IMO. I don't know if its cause of my color blindness or what, but I can't tell her from everyone else. So if I were on BL and the S.T.A.R. was on GR I'd think she was BL. But that's just me. -

What does it have to do with the location of the developers?
Sudden Attack was developed in Korea and it stomps the snot out of this game in almost every category.
Free? Quake Live is free, and it easily defeats Cross Fire.

It probably does, color blindness makes certain colors grayish/black correct? In that case that would be GR, and yellow/orange is one of the most common colors to be undetectable, which would be BL. Other people still can't tell the difference, but honestly, how do you not tell black and orange apart? -
To me S.T.A.R looks kinda cool, they look like military officers in formal attire. and I like the cool military badges they have on
But they really do look out of place.. no one goes into battle wearing formal a military outfit >.>
I find all the pervs annoying though, one reason why I never plan to buy one -

Color blindness obviously. And it doesn't help that I was abscent from CF for over 3 months either. -
