What kind of FPS can I expect with this laptop? I'm mainly asking because the clocked speed is so low, only 1.6

Furthermore, considering it is 5400 RPM drive, can I expect a greater loss in FPS when FRAPsing when compared to a 7200 RPM drive?

I'd say 80-100 maxed out.

Yes, if your game is running on the same drive you are frapsing in it suffers more in terms of performance. If you want to record smoothly with fraps, I suggest getting an extra hard drive for your laptop (if it has the extra slot) and running it in RAID 0.

with mine I got about 60-100 constant for at least 2-3 hours

If you want a Higher fps rate, for decant cash, buy a Desktop, Im using a laptop, i get 50-100... But on a decent Desktop, you should get more.

I think you guys are just guessing off the top of your heads. The desktop equivalent of this is a 5570. Comparing a 9300M to a 5730m is a general way of showing how most of you are guessing, especially considering he gets 60-100 and a 5730m is better.

I have found one that is 50 bucks cheaper and with a higher clocked CPU, but next time, try not to give anyone completely made up answers that will deter them from buying a reasonably priced laptop.
