Lagging Mouse

When I'm on crossfire my mouse lags. it would dissapear an inch and be back all the time. Just recently it started affecting my gameplay. Changing my direction and looking up and down has started getting choppy.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting, plugging out mouse and putting it back in, using a different mouse.

My keyboard lags too when im typing. Like, when I hold a letter to fill the chat box, it fill up faster then slower.

i have the same problem and im using a 15 dollar walmart mouse that works fine in Cod 4 and CS:S -.-
i DID try and change the DPI with a program and it worked ONCE and stopped afterwords

Hi, I have also made a thread on the laggy mouse. But for me it freezes, cant turn at all for up to 10 sec or so but WASD still works. But after the patch I have not yet experienced it. Does it still occur after patch?

If you have a Razer mouse, download the latest driver and install it, then lower the polling rate from 1000Hz to 350Hz.

1000 is way too high for CF anyways.

Me and 2 of my friends just use cheap $5 Microsoft mice that you can get at goodwill. You should pick one up and try it out. If its still all buggy then its probably drivers on your computer.

It's not the drivers, if the mouse works perfectly well on other apps/in normal use.

You simply have to lower the polling rate. 1000Hz is far too much for CF, I've lowered mine to 300Hz, and it's perfect now.

actually yeah polling probably has a lot to do with this problem.
