If you ask why the Winchester-S is for GP
Maybe they realized since they already released the winchester for gp crates and everyone had a good share of it...They realized that they couldn't exactly make a profit by making another variation for zp because we've been under the scrutiny of the original so long. So why not make it for GP?

I like the Winchester Scope. i don't think the scope is useless, you just need to get used to it. the scope provides increased accuracy over distance, even if the power isnt much long range, it is still helpful when they are mid range away and your crosshair is the size of their chest.
