Shotgun Sounds Question

Is it possible to change the XM1014's shooting sound? I don't mind if I'm the only that can hear it, but I would really like another sound for the shotgun. It sounds like an airsoft gun shooting pebbles IMO...And how do I do this?

You can't edit the sound files, if you could, everyone would be silencing there m60's and enjoying a spray free gm.

What max said, if you could edit the sound files for guns I would have deleted them all a long time ago and enjoyed being an awesome global risk player.

Mmmm can't I change MY sounds? I don't care if everyone else listens to the normal shotgun sound, but I want to listen to a better one?

Like I said before, if you changed "your" sounds, then gm would suddenly be ez because "you" couldnt hear gun shots and pinpointing would be easy. So im sure the devs made sure it wasn't possible, I believe there mixed into the rez files.

Actually you can I am pretty sure... But just like sprays that you change only YOU can see/hear the difference.

Mess around with the files a bit.

THAT is what I want...I wish I just knew how to mess around with those :P
