smoke goggles?

I just noticed them, don't know how new they are but OMFG, basically selling a hack, nice z8, real classy.

What next? Aimbot for 10k zp a week?

Fail.

Anyone actually try these yet to see how well they work? As long as you buy them for science I won't make fun of you.

The only thing I complain is the Nighvision helmet not have nightvision.

I've tried the Smoke-protection helmet, and I haven't noticed it doing anything for me. Whenever someone drops a smoke grenade in my path, it doesn't matter if I'm in it or looking at it, its still too thick to see through it.

So IMHO, the helmet is absolutely useless and a waste of money. They are even more useless than armor or flash-protection goggles.

They help, but not much... The time difference when blinded between wearing Flash shades and not wearing the shades are barely noticeable.

got to smoke gogles, pretty much only to increase my fps

if u look at the mid of the smoke, you won't be able to see through, but at the edge of it you see a bit more and can see nearer the center of it, but if some1 is directly behind/in the smoke, you wont see them. but il admit, i had my share of sniping through smokes

Yes, they are. Even with flash-protecting I'm still out of the game for 2-3 seconds whenever some smuck throws a flash-bang at my face. I don't call that protection.

Shrug, while I have yet to try using smoke goggles them seem to work quite well for everyone else.

Getting 1 click from accross the map through a double/triple smoke is cool.

Imo flash goggles make a huge difference. If you are playing on EE and someone from BL spawn throws a flash over A from spawn and you are near the boxes you are blinded for 2-3 seconds, with flash goggles it only lasts about 1 second.

Agreed. I did 30 rpk gold crates (missed it by one) and won that stupid helmet. So thought cool finally gonna see what it does (was wondering since it came out). Was verry dissapointed to see it did hardly nothing...

You talk about them as if you've ACTUALLY used em. They don't let you see through smoke, the make it slightly clearer, barely noticeable or helpful.

So well said. But the problem , people prefer to buy (illegal ) hack than ZP hack:D
ZP are for legal idiots who can`t handle the game with the normal GP stuffs.

A lot of people assume that its going to make the smoke completely disappear. It reduces the smoke to the point where it is only a medium fog.

The goggles have a minimal effect and make smoke look like it was back in 09'

So, I am going to go out on a limb here and say that if someone 1 clicks you through a double smoke from accross the map it most likely was not because of smoke goggles?

most likely it would be they saw your name and got lucky, smoke google cant see som1 directly a single smoke, no way for double smoke. that, or he cham.

i think it simply slightly lower the number of particles in the smoke, thats my guess , since their not smaller, just not as dense.

The only thing they're good for is seeing through the very edge of smoke looking like Sam Fisher.

Wont bother with them as i doubt it will make firing through smoke any easier.

Flash goggles on the other hand are amazing.

I think flash goggles reduce the effect by atleast half time maybe more

since I get them with like every zp crate i have them for like a year , so im using them .smoke helmet , well is just a helmet to make your guy look cool I guess like the new crystal gun:)

I also have a life times worth of all available sprays which is the biggest useless item in CF :)I need a delete button
