winchester as secondary?

I say winchester should be secondary because imo the gun just doesn't match up with main guns... I could imagine it as a secondary totally but as a main wep? Nuh uh.. the gun can't go far :P. I mean how does it make it a rifle... honestly it should be a shot gun... looks like one feels like one but its not. The range is ridiculously low... i mean maybe 15ft is where max headshot goes... you can't play any big maps. :P So its a secondary because short range high power.. If it was a secondary it would be one of the best were getting double shotties something has to match up with that? The winchester I love my winchester just... eh. I like it I get good combos just I could imagine it as a secondary. Example: someone with an awm someone pops out or there fighting close range he pulls out a winchester and bam 1 shotted or 2shot :P. When I use it I feel like I have another gun in my bag and the winchester is secondary...

  • Winchester is a primary rifle, just because you don't know how to use it at range doesn't mean it's a bad gun, or should be a secondary. It's too large to be anyway.
If you know how to use a Winchester, it can be better than most automatic rifles.

Anyway, it may not seem like it to some people, but the Winchester is a rifle.
Every gun has it's map(s) that it's best used for. Obviously the Winchester is great for close range maps such as Egypt or Ship. Also, they give you the option to use a second bag for a reason. I can fully understand where you're coming from and the Winchester definitely should have a power buff at range, but it always has been a weak long range rifle. Face facts, it was manufactured in the late 1800's and will not be up to par with modern day rifles.

Look at it this way, you encounter someone with an AWM while playing. Seeing that they have a sniper rifle, you decide to rush and take away the range advantage. They pull out a Winchester and kill you one shot when in range. Rinse and repeat. You face any decent sniper that has some kind of aim with a Winchester and they could turn unbeatable. Sure, there will be people that can get around all that, but what about the newer players? They wouldn't realize the sheer power a Winchester as a secondary and be completely mauled by those who know it.

Post above pretty much summed up most of what I was trying to convey. Just being thorough.

    Tl;dr: No.

Well what about a deagle? I mean obviously if you headshot it wouldn't matter you hit 30-45 dmg close range 2 - 3 pops there dead... this one if your caught mid range then the sniper is screwed if hes caught with a deagle mid range hes so-so ok i guess he has a chance.

Winchester at mid range takes 2-3 shots to kill. Not much of a change. Plus, if a rifler gets close enough for the sniper to use a deagle, s/he should be able to gun the sniper down before s/he could get enough shots off.
Seeing that the Winchester is in fact a rifle, I doubt it will ever make it as a secondary. As posted before, it's too large and bulky to be a secondary. Might as well make every shotgun a secondary as well. Following your logic, the shotguns are horrible at long range, so they should be a secondary weapon.
  • What the hell? Who the **** gave you that dumb idea? Since when Winchester should be a secondary? I mean seriously... You guys have a hell load of crazy ideas.
  • Why not Scar L as main gun, M12 as second and instead of a knife, you could use Kriss!!
  • I pwned yesterday a Tommy-User with Winny oO
