Critics?
Well, well, well. What do we have here? People criticising Z8 and the new patch allready. Sure, there still is job to do, sure there were a delay, some guns may be misplaced (winchester scope and AKs-74u need to switch places) BUT, we only see badsides here, don't we?
So why the heck did I made this thread if it's not for QQ'ing about how the patch is bad? Well, I made this thread to actually thank Z8games. The new friend system works, and that's allready an enormous achievement. I'd like to say thanks for the job Z8Games is doing. Thanks guys. Really.
People who agree with this, might post. But damn, dudes, just keep flamin' and all this badmouthing away. If you wanna play me flame, do it in PM.

Did you read the post? There is still things to be done, and I never said there aren't. But I want you people to understand that people ARE working, and that we ARE getting results. Just damn, no one can do everything at the same time. Besides, AFAIK they don't use a simple engine, so yeah, coding it out isn't the easiest job ever too.Adding a terrible things to the game and not fixing the MAJOR glitches that currently plague it compared to a friend system that saves you the process of whispering.
Yeah, those aren't equal.
I keep, and will keep saying that Z8 is working. Even if they don't do everything, they are trying, and that is the important thing. -

Z8 doesn't do anything, methinks you mean the Devs.
And technically no results are achieved. If you assign the updates with mathematical values, we'd be in the negative. -
Well it's still something, isn't it? Oh and Z8 hosts the game ^^.. I know they are no devs, but well, ppl just keep flaming them for devs errors anyways.
People flame Z8 because they have no communication with the devs. Z8 is the only contact they have.
And no. A negative number = a lack of something GOOD. So yeah, it's something bad.
But that's why so many people are ****ed. -
A negative number = there's more negative than positive, resulting in overall negative. Still there IS positive. If there weren't the game would be just closed. Or become the new CA.
I care about the overall, because only the overall matters when assessing the game. -
Don't compate the two. There is nothing good in the .. Accident .. And there is nothing good in people dieing..
While in the patch, there mighe be bad things, but also a couple of good things. Like said in first post.
Fine, let's use the holocaust.
The Nazi regime could have been worse. Doesn't mean it wasn't terrible.
And if you say nothing good came out of it I will slap your ignorance right out of you. -
Excuse me for what I'll do, but... I just RoFL'D too much >.>
"Godwin's law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies or Godwin's law of Nazi Analogies)[1][2] is a humorous observation made by Mike Godwin in 1989 which has become an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."[3][2] In other words, Godwin put forth the sarcastic observation that, given enough time, all discussions—regardless of topic or scope—inevitably wind up being about Hitler and the Nazis.
In many cases, those who are compared to Nazis (particularly if the comparison is apt) erroneously and/or mendaciously try to invoke Godwin's law as proof that their opponents have lost the debate/discussion regarding the topic at hand, the comparison being nullified without the comparison being substantively refuted.[4]
Godwin's law is often cited in online discussions as a deterrent against the use of arguments in the widespread reductio ad Hitlerum form. The rule does not make any statement about whether any particular reference or comparison to Adolf Hitler or the Nazis might be appropriate, but only asserts that the likelihood of such a reference or comparison arising increases as the discussion progresses. It is precisely because such a comparison or reference may sometimes be appropriate, Godwin has argued[5] that overuse of Nazi and Hitler comparisons should be avoided, because it robs the valid comparisons of their impact.
Although in one of its early forms Godwin's law referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions,[6] the law is now applied to any threaded online discussion: electronic mailing lists, message boards, chat rooms, and more recently blog comment threads, wiki talk pages, and social networking sites."

What's your point? I assume you find gravity amusing then =\
And you still haven't actually responded to the comparison =\ -

Sarcasm. As simple as that.
I could hold up the debate for a couple of hours, but what's the point? In the end it will p!ss us both off, and we still will stay as close to our opinions as we can. I do not try to convince you no more and I think that you can have your own opinion, hence I won't try to get you to mine no more. I still keep my opinion about this.
Oh and about the Nazi thing. Yes it was horrible. But yes, there are good things wich came off it. It changed people's minds in the way it had to be changed in order to survive in a crisis. Of course it's a pity to have had a war, nazis, killings and furthermore actions of the sort, but even a lot of bad things in the end made one little good thing.
And Z8's job isn't as tragic and important is it? Thus I don't think I shall be passing my time bit'ching about how the devs included bunny ears while I could pass my time having fun with my friends using this new friend system they included. CF stays a game, and there is nothing so tragic about it. Thus, can't be compared to nazis and WWII. -

and in the end, mutation mode is a good mode and clearly better than SnD.
in wogl, first prize is bunny ears and a gold rpk.
instead of snd being played in china, it will be a combination of TD and MM.
GL IN WOGL. -

I don't get ****ed off over a debate =\
And also http://www.eps.mq.edu.au/courses/GEOS264/maps/mapch2/lscale.htm
First sentence, replace "maps" with "anything." -
Lets not group two things together ok?Well, well, well. What do we have here? People criticising Z8 and the new patch allready.
The critics of Z8 games mainly cite miss-communications. One would expect [GM]Saidin to know exactly what is in the patch. While it is true, it is a part of his job to get people excited for a coming patch making something appear to be what it is not is rarely the right path to go down. That being said, no one really is blaming him. Most simply are asking for less vague communication when possible.
The patch has its own issues, the annoying messages you get when anyone on your friends list logs in and out etc. Not really going to turn this into a rant. But simply put these are issues that are involved with the developers who are hiding in Korea. That being said Z8 games is really the only real connect we have... regardless of how poor of a connection it may be.
The issue here is the fact that there are glitches with the patch. Also the game already poorly uses computer resources, having chat spammed 24/7 now doesn't help that situation much. But who cares about basics that would improve overall game play? We all just want new items...
Sure, there still is job to do, sure there were a delay, some guns may be misplaced (winchester scope and AKs-74u need to switch places) BUT, we only see badsides here, don't we?
Its the difference between duck taping the whole in the dam vs fixing it properly. Sure it might be most difficult to fix it properly but in the end it will last for a longer period of time. What most critics ask for/point out is simply that. Fix the basics, then add all the frills you want. Your probably the type that takes prozac then wonders why your still ****ed. Why confront the issue when you can ignore it? It would just be like ignoring the death of other human beings because of their race/sexual preference/ideology/impairments (cwhatididther?).
Because you want karma? Or IRC points I guess? So why the heck did I made this thread if it's not for QQ'ing about how the patch is bad?Well, I made this thread to actually thank Z8games. The new friend system works, and that's allready an enormous achievement.
Yes it does a wonderful job of spamming chat along with the black market announcements. But damn, dudes, just keep flamin' and all this badmouthing away. If you wanna play me flame, do it in PM.
There is a difference between posting the obvious and badmouthing. Its not exactly badmouthing if its true. If anything its simple advice in an attempt to improve the situation. Its like GreyCloak and his friends trying to tell me that the M4A1 was never changed.
ps: Cypher posting on alt, since forums are glitched or something...
Just to continue, if you want people to be kind and nice try Hello Kitty Adventure its pretty good. If you can't deal with critics then I would suggest jumping off a high building life's tough.
Don't you just want that cookie?
pss: I'll have fun playing with everyone on my friends list. Oh wait I deleted them all because it was annoying seeing who logged in and out every minute. -
@ Slaya >
1. For me SnD is the second worst mode. After E.M. and I don't really care about WOGL ^^
2. Sucks to be you if you want to win such "prizes".
3. Your comment about what is going to played in China is random? Or it just looks like?
Thanks for GL, don't need it. Don't really care about WOGL.
Whatever anyways, meh. -

sarcasm doesn't transfer well over text does it?
if you actually think MM is a good mode, i will slap the stupidity right out of you.
i haven't played MM since it came out and i was on a wall ledge with 5 people (paradox) above me spraying m60's at zombies. -
People have every right to be pis.sed at CF.
-They put RPK-G for ZP crates so RPK-C is worth alot less now.
-They put winchester-s for GP, making normal winchester basicly worthless.
-M4-s cry fails. Same as adv/silver but its got even less ammo and costs alot more.
-Im not even going to go into the new char. =.=" -
