New feature?

I was wondering if CF would add a prone feature. Instead of only begin able to Run, walk silently, crouch and stand still, you can go prone.
PS: For those of you who does not know what going prone is, it's laying flat on the ground. Good sniping position.

Oh, and start flaming me, trolls.

No, just no that would seriously ruin everything on this game....to many people would play dead in other dead bodies trust me its one of the most common tricks on the CoD series.

NO, ppl are going to employ the "dolphin" method, and insta-prone, just like Warrock, it'll be insane

Dolphin means when you jump into the air, you go prone mid-flight, so, to the enemy in front of you, they have less to shoot at. Players do this often in Warrock whilst running or traveling to prevent being shot at.

Insta-prone is when you suddenly turn to see a baddie and you press the prone button instantly, so the enemy has to move his aiming reticule down to shoot you, its extremely annoying if you master it.

Not allowed to prone while in mid-air.

Press C.
You will crouch a little.
Then go prone.

For proning to be balanced, it would require a long animation. Or we'd end up with pu***dropping á la WarRock (granted they patched that, although at the same time destroying the game)
Not suitable for the pace of this game, nor is it really necessary, since guns are plenty accurate when simply crouching.

Thats just stupid, Crossfire is for designed for a skilled group of people. People are gonna think of hacks about the prone and ruin the game. Like Sinking under the map or something?
