I tend to spray more with the g36k because of it RoF but once you get use to it, its a HS machine! But Xm8 is a pro weapon I burst fire so well with it. See I use my AK Camo close to mid range shooting and my Xm8 or K2 for long long. My vote is for the Xm8.
So the fast Rof, bad recoil/low damage(G36k) = Close to mid range weapon
Slower RoF, no recoil for 5 shots/ 100% thru boxes/ almost AK damage (Xm8)= Beast mid to long range weapon.

It's the second fastest RoF gun in CF, first place is FAMAS.

Wrong!

G36K have high ROF, high damage (3HK chest mid and close), and high box Dmg
XM8 have 80% box dmg

Yes. But the G36K is not a bad weapon, in the "most underrated gun" thread I said the K2 and G36K. If the Xm8 did not exist I would use the G36K. G36K is like the little brother of the Xm8.
