Escape's Movie Contest - Winner!

Hey, sorry for being so late on announcing the winner of my video contest! I'm currently in Greece, and I've been here for 4 days, I haven't been able to come on to a computer.

So now lets get to the point. The winner of the first of many contest's I hope to run, is comatarmsFTW (FreeHat20). These were the reviews he got from the two judges!

Right from the beginning to end, i enjoyed the whole video. The camera roams were very smooth. The colours and syncing went very well with this song. Definitely an original video. 9/10

Definitely one of the better entries. I don't play favorites but this video distinguishes it's self from the others. Clean cuts, smooth cam work, and simple sync. The time ramping was simple yet effective. It added something that others didn't have, flow. One final note, not a fan of the abrupt ending, but other then that, great video. 8/10

In second place we have neof! With a great video, but it fell just a little short to freehat! Here is what the judges had to say...

The sync in this video was incredible. The velocity editing and effects complimented the sync very well. The only down side to this video was the laggy free roam in the beginning. For this video, there was actually a nice and smooth ending. 8/10

Like the other video entries, this video contained a CSS type of feeling but this one was able to keep it through out the video. The sync was, for the most part, spot on. *English Voice*. At some times I felt the color sync was a bit too much and unneeded. As for the outro, it was nice and to the point. 7.5/10

And in third place we have someone who we haven't heard much from in the editing scene Vizion. This was an entry given to me on via xfire. Here is what the judges had to say about this entry!

This whole video was very smooth except for when it started to go black a few times. I noticed there were too many free roams and footage of you walking around. This could have been avoided by editing the music. The gameplay footage was nicely synced with smooth slow motion. The text could of been more creative and eye popping. The colour correction was nice and clean, but the glow on the white might have been too strong. Overall, I give this video a 6/10.
