A common misconception - Some people don't get it.
Most people with common sense will find this completely useless. However I must express my extreme discontent with people who seem to think Z8 Games is directly responsible for fixing Crossfire's issues.
Z8 Games (From Wikipedia) - The Z8Games platform is designed to offer numerous game-enhancing community features and experiences, with an emphasis on interaction.
Z8 Games is a publishing company. They are NOT the Developers. All Z8 Games is responsible for is the communities of certain games, not the game itself. For the less intelligent people, that means the issues in the game are the responsibility of the Developers ONLY. Only the Developers can fix the issues and send the patches back. Stop blaming Z8 Games for issues that are not even in their control.

Like I said, most people know Z8 Games isn't the developer. But I simply couldn't restrain correcting some people that really think it's their fault :P

No. SmileGate is the one responsible. They are the actual developers. All G4Box does is publish and distribute the game and Z8 Games is the internet portal. No developing responsibilities for CF exist in either of those companies. Only SmileGate. -

Once G4Box/Z8 Games receive the patch files back from SmileGate, then it's released. The reason why it takes so long is because it's a copy/paste from the Developer Box to the Live Box. They are pasting a large batch of files (which includes the patch) into our version. G4Box/Z8 Games has to wait for SmileGate to finish those files and send them back before a patch can be made. Thus the reason why Z8 Games doesn't know when the patch will be either. When they know, we'll know, trust me. Haha. I'm sure they want the complaining to stop at some point

what i dont get tho is why its taking them so long i mean the coding exists its all ready been made for the chinese and vietnamese versions
Different versions, different coding, different language, different problems. There are a whole bunch of reasons. They have to fix everything and code it to our specific version. It's a little more complicated than copy/pasting code from other versions. -

SmileGate is the ONLY developer. They are the ONLY ones who deal with the coding of the game. The rest of them are simply publishers. G4Box/Z8Games has to wait on SmileGate to send the patch files. Until then, they are waiting just as we are. -
No matter who develops it, it's still more designed towards profit rather than gameplay.
That wasn't the point of discussion. It was to take the blame that everyone puts on Z8 Games for something that isn't in their control, i.e. the coding issues (glitches, damage registration, patches, etc.) All Z8 Games and G4Box can do is send the information of the issues to SmileGate. After that, all they can do is wait for SmileGate to send patch files. If you want to blame anyone, put it on SmileGate. They are the coders. But, blaming someone isn't going to do anything to make the patches and fixes come faster. So why do it at all? Good question. -
