More WEM Information
The WOGL-P is coming down to the wire. The tournament is now in the elimination finals and we are getting closer to finding out who is going to have the chance to go to China and compete for $28,000 in prizes!
Having said that, there have been a lot of questions over the last while as to what the rules would be for the tournament in China. Well we can now deliver some of those rules to you all so you can have a look and for those who might have the chance they can look to see what restrictions are in place for when it comes time to play!
So without Further Ado, here are the details thus far!
WEM Tournament and Games period
Oct 30 - Nov 7th
Cross Fire tournament period
Nov 3rd - Nov 7th
Matches will be played on Black Widow
Games will consist of 9 rounds for each half.
Tie Breakers will go to the teams with the most kills.
Guns allowed are the following:
Primary:
M60
MP5
P90
M4A1
AK-47
AUG
SG552
AWM
XM1014
Secondary:
COLT1911
Desert Eagle
Melee Weapons:
Knife
Axe
Grenades:
Regular
Smoke
Flash
Characters:
SWAT
OMOH
SAS
There will be further rules and schedules released over the course of the next 2 months. As more information comes in we will be sure to update the rules!

There will likely be pre-made accounts specifically for the event. I can't confirm that detail, but I suspect this would be something that would happen.
And to answer the question about camo weapons, only the guns listed are allowed. So camo versions etc are not allowed. -
Is the chinese M4A1 still the OBT version?
omg omg omg, i miss that so much, i would win the event single handedly with that gun.
@saidin, yeah i'd assume as well they would have premade accounts with all the guns allowed on them, atleast i hope so. -

If it will be run like all the other eSports events for Cross Fire than it will be run from the Korean script [which happens to be used by the Chinese version]. Everything is on a dev box, than ran through a LAN setup. So accounts are typically set up per. user on the spot for the event. I don't think I've ever participated in an event such as this, nor spectated one that wasn't ran in that very manner. -

but thats why i´m asking i was at the WOGL site and there the allowed weapon list show Camo + silver guns thats why I ask why they are not allowed now
