Ventrilo makes my computer freezing

idc if it's the wrong section but...

Every time I connect to a server, there is the "Message of the day" box that shows up, but I can't close it and it will freeze my computer.
Anyone knows how to deal with this issue?

a admin can actually control who sees the MOTD just ask a admin to hide it from your account when u sign in.
