Getting on top of roofs and stuff is considered glitching. There are damage spots up there for a reason, and maps are designed to be fair and balanced if you stay within the normal boundaries.
Getting on roofs tips the balance in favor of you/your team because players wont look there normally because you're outside the map. -
So obvisously every one finds spots to get onto roof tops and on beams high above everybody, whats so bad about that? If you can get there why not let us stay up there? Its not like an unfair advantage or anything its just more places to look out for and more places to get a couple sweet kills in. Example, when port was new me and my friends would boost each other up ontop of the rooftops (and under the map but thats not what im trying to promote) so we could snipe people from above. It gave more of a challenge to the playing feild and since the map was new no one said "oh wow glitcher" they probabaly thought there was a way to get up there. Annnnyways my point is you shouldnt put damage spots on rooves and stuff. The only places you should put damage spots are like under maps and in boxes so people can get some where, where they cant be shot/killed. And also it would make the maps seem alot bigger since there is more places to go to. Sooooooooooo hoping a mod reads this and actually promotes this idea.
I Love how a bunch of people have been making fun of your idea when it's not a bad one, I LOVE how they cant see that your saying if they get rid of the dmg spots to the roof and the invisble walls that its no longer a glitch, and yes themap would be more fun if we can go on the rooves, honestly this is a good idea.
Like they are crying about it being a glitchwhen it wouldnt be a glitch anymore if they do what your saying, i dont see the reasoning behind the constant crying they are doing, its just an idea honestly. -

and if they the roof tops easily accessable again then it would fair because everyplayer can get on the rooftops with out a hassel and i know why they put the damage spots up there this thread wouldnt exist if they didnt have the damage spots invisible walls up there.. and also your saying people wouldnt normally look there because its outside of the map but if they let us on the roof top it would be then part of the map and people would look up there. Im pretty much suggesting an expansion on the maps even though when these maps 1st came out you were able to get there. I didnt even know it was a gltich i actually thought you were suppose to be able to get up there until they patched it. -

just give it up you dont have any reason to why its bad idea because its a good one, come back when you come up with a good reason. Why are you so agaisnt it anyways? Is it because your struggling to keep a positive k/dr and you dont want to have to watch out for more places to get shot from? Keep in mind you can go to those places yourself... -

your not reading anything ive been posting. If they unplatch it and LET us get on the roof it WOULD NOT be a gltich anymore. so no actually this idea doesnt promote gltiching in anyway and stop saying it is a gltich when if this idea happened it would not be a gltich -

Thats really funny how you know im right and you have absolutly nothing to say back to me that has anything to do with my thread being a bad idea. and i like cod actually you can get on roof tops. imagine if cod put invisible walls around the rooves like cf did? When you could just jump on a railing and then onto the roof. Did you actually play when you were able to do that? I really didnt think it was a gtlich up there because they had invisible walls up on cetain parts of the roof. It was as if they expected players to get on the roof but they limited where we could go up there until we figured out how to get other places and then they decided to make the entire roof off limits. So did you play cf back then? -

well the invisible walls are there for a reason, and that is because they simply don't want you there, it's their game and they can do whatever they want with it
if you don't like cf, go download another game...
btw i'd like to know what are damage spots, cuz i've never seen one before
