who here actually still just plays for fun. and when i say that i mean, play how you want, where you want, and with what you want.
more and more i see people giving up the casual playing of this game for the "seriousss buisnesss" of competition.
more and more i see people giving up there current playstyle to join the conformitiy of the general public, not remain themselfs. (if your a vet you should get this)
latley i seem to get flamed ingame for my casual playing style lol. its rather funny.
there like: "WTH, WOGL OR YOU CANT PLAY THIS GAME YO!", or "USE PRO STUFF, YOU CANT PLAY THE GAME!". or something to that effect.
my usual response is: "I play this game in a way that gives me the most fun out of it. and that way has NO competition in it." OR "I play in a way that gives me the most enjoyment out of my game."
I use SPOP, ill use armor sometimes, and yes ill use a Kriss, tommy, or whatever. becuase i like to play how i want to. Becuase i dont want to conform my playing style that gives me entertainment to your view, i cant play this game? seems to me people here need to grow up.
i got news for you, unless you own this game you have no rights AT ALL to say who can use what or where they can use it.

Lol me and my cln do we were in this scrim and we just started dancing on music bots on vent in game and like knifing it was hilarious.
we do it more often now it's alot of fun.
we also scrim with uzis sometimes :P
Same here, some times in eagle eyes we all go to the tower camp, and we still win some rounds like that xD. -
I play public games for fun, I would not care if someone killed me with kriss and armor, I dont use armor, scar light, spop or anything like that. And I dont mind people using it either. But if I played a game on the clan server, I would complain since some weapons are very "overpowered". I have nothing against spops, I just dont think that male players should use it. Why would you want to play as a female character when ur not a girl? If you are a girl, sure! Use spop, I would too.

On the competitive scene? I can see why you wouldn't make a good scrimmer. It's pretty clear that a gun providing clear advantages over the rest shouldn't be used competitively.there is only one rule in my book: survive...by any means nessisary. eff wogl rules.
I can totally understand pub mentality, but bringing it into scrims shows your ignorance. -

Your argument interests me.
You are right to say you are allowed to use all the items available to the player (such as spop and kriss) and you make a valid point as people QQ about it. I don't like being killed by a spop with armor and kriss, but that is what you gotta put up with if you want to pub or play bad clans.
Another way of looking at it is what the word "fun" means to each type of player.
To you it clearly means using the advantages that the game offers, such as spop and kriss. To other players it means being a in a team and playing together.
Once you get good pubing gets boring, allways the same old frags and people QQing in rooms. When you get tired of that you start having fun in a team playing competitive where new bright talent often see a whole new side to CrossFire. -

I'm on both side i'm not a competitive wackjob but I do like competition. I can safely still say that I still play casual and for fun because I usually play with my best friend. I get where your coming from completely kinda p1sses me off too when they go gtfo n00b, or WOGL Failure, or 5v5 Scrim? But you must also know that tournaments and such introduced the more competitive/moneysavvy way to play crossfire. Think about It If CF was 100% casual fps they'd get casual money and casual bankruptcy lol:D. Still CASUAL & COMPETITIVE GAMIN' FTW! Yea and Ik what you mean by vets getting sucked into the general population...Ik cause It happened to me LOL
