Vent vs Team Speak

What's the big difference?
Don't you have to pay to use vent? Yet most scrim clans use vent over Team Speak.

I'd honestly prefer TeamSpeak, but since it's not widely as known as Ventrilo is, I think that is maybe the reason. Ventrilo lags more too a bit.

People use vent so they dont have to hear the annoying monotone woman voice whenever someone joins/leaves the channel .

i have used both for a while... i like teamspeak a lot more its more customizable, looks a lot better, vent looks like its from the 90s xD, and vent does not have better sound quality.. they sound pretty much the same.

No a LOT of vents are free. Its also easier to use.
