Thoughts on a Cross Fire Only Ventrilo!

Hello CF Community,

We are thinking of creating a Cross Fire Only 100 Slot ventrilo server for CF players to participate in. Teams can easily be created, matches set up and weekly tournaments would occur in this Ventrilo server.

Any thoughts, ideas?

Sounds like a pug vent with organized pubs. Bad idea, IMHO seeing as most pugs have failed thus far.

yes, we need a pug/pub vent for only our game, instead of sharing with mw2,Ca,cs.
gets annoying when people playing a diff game r in same vent, and it takes up slots.

Yes but only under certain conditions.

1) Keep 1-5 admins that aren't friends with anybody on crossfire. Keep it unbiased.
2) If this catches on 100 slots will not be enough.
3) Make a set of rules AND STICK TO IT.

Yes.
1. The admins are not familiar with players on Cross Fire, but they do understand what goes on in-game.
2. 100 Slots is a good start in the beginning. Eventually, they will be able to get a non-profit organization ventrilo that will increase the slots.

There will always be people who don't like one admin or another, and it only takes four or five to shut a vent down.

I'm not one of those people though, if they decide to start something like this, I'll keep my mouth closed :P

Making a cracked vent server with 1000 slots and making other user's download the cracked vent client is not cool, don't waste you're time.

I would imagine it as a place for clans to have private channels to scrim, and when they want to pub, they will go to a public
channel.

a U.S/Canada CF only... So that there won't be any people with 100 ping +
and UK vent would be good for euros
